Proud of my fellow Ohio voters, both dems and republicans, who saw through the bullshit here. To take away the ability of the worker simply to negotiate was a slap in the face. The tactic to pit private against public workers failed by a huge margin.

That may be true... but the beauty is, you can recall Walker, but you can't recall the legislation.
And it will be very difficult for the Dems to hold all 3 houses and get repeal.
It's a lot like Obamacare - the majority of the nation are against it, but it can't be repealed, as I don't see a perfect storm happening again when one party has 60 senate seats, the house, and the presidency.
That is pretty crazy. I wonder what the political party breakdown was of that 46%?

Props to the Dems/Unions here - they got out the vote on this issue - so they deserved to win for that reason alone (and really only that reason)

Ohio Pension fund is $38 BILLION in the red, 2nd worst in the nation, behind New Jersey.
So, when less state money flows into local coffers - jobs will be cut. Whose? Probably will start with firefighters.

The situation is unmanageable. $38 BILLION in the red for the state pension fund.......
....and state workers were being asked to contribute 10% towards it - I wonder how long that would have kept it solvent.
