6 - 16ish? Read up and I think you will find that it is the most formative years for music taste....and even I think it sucked.

You can if that's the music your parents listened to. His kids will listen to stuff in the future that will have him shaking his head, and he will play Pearl Jam, Weezer, and Cake for them, and they will laugh in his face, and call him a tin eared old fart.
