Jason Day has meiners disease. had same thing myself and after all the tests for brain tumor etc (went to 10 different doctors) they found nothing. started having dropsy vertigo (feels like 1st time drunk with no sense of balance) and fell in grocery store. 12 stiches in forehead as did not know I was falling so did not put my arms out to catch my fall.
Finally went to Shea Clinic in Memphis and they knew exactly what the problem was and I needed surgery (too far along to treat with medicine). had the surgery 10 years ago and no problems since, except for hearing loss in left ear.
don't know how day finished hole as his head was most likely spinning and if he was like me just wanted to lay down somewhere and not move for a couple of hours. He will coninue to get worse till he gets treatment and the falling will get worse. the attacks come with no warning whatsoever.
Shea Clinic says they do not know what causes meniers but have found ways to treat it. some people have caused major traffic accidents when having a attack.
