Hey Scott...congrats to a great year of gambling and backing of USC. Saw them for 3rd time this year and they have some incredible athletes. With coming out party with Vtech next year it should be a good ride for Pete and his staff. Hope my Sooners can keep up. Congrats again for nutting up with your Trojans. (If that is patented by Trojan, I apologize.)

THANKYOU and FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!

THANKYOU and FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!

Wow, what can I say. First i want to congratulate Michigan on their great season and their team fought hard throughout the game. Today was something special for me. I been going to USC Trojan games since i was 2years old and my Dad is a graduate from USC. I bleed cardinal and gold and today I got to witness in person my first USC NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!! It was fantastic. Then icing on the cake was winning by biggest bet ever. My biggest worry was USC winning but not covering because I would have mixed emotions.

Then after the game and celebrating, i come home with no voice and look at madjacks. WOW was I happily suprised to see soo many people congratulate me. I never expected it. Really was nice to read all the congratulations replies. I especially enjoyed G-Mans post. Thanks again everybody, really kind of you and hopefully you profited on USC today with me. What a way to start the new year.

As for the game, I thought USC played like champions. USC did not get many breaks (except the INT). How many times did Michigan get back those fumbles. Amazing. USC offense was unstopable and used all their weapons like i thought they would. The refs were horrible, so many blown calls but i have not watched the game on tv yet. I know Colbert got TD called back that shouldn't and 2 Michigans TD's came after 2 PI fouls (1 was legit i thought). Michigan offense did exactly as i thought, gain ton yards, but not good enough to win the game. USC defense is not running the style Carroll wants because Carroll is still building at USC. Gotta get more athletes at LB. However, the USC defense played better than i thought. Overall, this is a very young USC football team who also was very banged up coming into this game. I was very impressed today. USC def. is the #1 team in the nation. Things did not go USC way today and USC still dominated. Great coaching by USC, I have not said that until Pete Carroll arrived at USC (and I doubted him when he was hired). Cannot wait until next year when USC is expected toto make a national championship run.

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scott, congratulations on being crowned National Champs! And for hitting the jackpot with your play!

Only thing though...what in the hell didn't go your way? You held the best running back in the country to 85 yards, you totally dominated our offensive line, you sacked Navarre 9 times when he had only been sacked 15 times all year, you threw 4 td passes on a defense that has only allowed 5 all year, you get an INT off a freak bounce off of Edwards' shoe, need I go on? ;)

Again, congratulations USC!

That INT was a good break for USC as you indicated. . . over the years, I've come to realize that good teams simply come up with good breaks and they cash them in. Michigan had an opportunity with USC's first and only turnover late in the game but couldn't cash it in like the Trojans.

I just wanted to say again, you were 100% correct with your analysis regarding the difference in coaching. . . no doubt about it. Norm Chow should be a head coach by now and USC is lucky to have kept him this long.

Congrats again on your big win. . . I know how they feel

Congrats to Scott and especially to SC. 3 years in a row where the Pac-10 has had the best or equal to the best team in the nation (sc,sc,oregon) and we STILL haven't played in the title game???

The Pac went 4-2 for the "weak..down..sissies from the west coast". Only losses were by a bad ucla team to another west coast team playing at home in Fresneck and a mediocre Oregon team who almost beat Minny.
