I agree with BBC. The Trojans' resounding victory proved all the doubters wrong. It also legitimizes last year's co-national championship and #1 ranking, thus making USC arguably the best college football team over the last 2 years.

WOW what a game. I predicted a nice 7pt win for USC but not a complete blowout. I do not think anybody can bad mouth or underestimate USC anymore. 3 straight years USC was put down or underestimated coming into BCS bowl games and 3 staight times USC dominated their opponents.
People need to start realizing it is hard to win in the pac 10. I think stat wise Pac 10 is the hardest conf. to go undefeated in while the SEC is the easiest.
I told everyone Lendale White looked great in practice and would be effective. HE DOMINATED! I told everyone prior to season White and Bush are the best tandom and I think I was proven right. White IMO is an heisman RB on any other team. He was the key to the game. When White runs the ball, USC offense is explosive. I also said USC passiing attack was VERY SHARP in practice but maybe people thought I was a homer for saying that. I ould go on and on about my told you so's but I rather not do that.
ONE LAST TOLD YOU SO! USC has 16 starters back from "this" team. USC only had 2 starters from last years offense on this years offense. YA THINK MAYBE THAT HAD A REASON FOR USC STRUGGLING THIS YEAR? USC was pre-season #1 so they just needed W's. USC also plays around in the 1h setting up every opponent all year. I keep telling people this. USC uses the 1h to make adjustments on their opponent and prevent the opponent making adjustments on USC. Its all one big setup. It is unfair to give Carroll and Chow 4 weeks to prepare. Their is NO COACHING STAFF in CFB as good as USC's and it all starts with Carroll.
Gotta question for people. Why was everyone so enamored with LSU's defense last year? Nobody mentions what an awesome defense USC has or what a great DC Carroll is. He is the best in the business and I been trying to let people know. OU's offense this year was MUCH MUCH MUCH better than last year's offense. USC defense DOMINATED!
Gameplan was to take out Peterson who EVERYONE was so enamored with. They guy did jack $hit against USC and I knew he was over-rated to a certain extent. Carroll always starts his gameplan by taking away the best player on a team. Gameplan was take out Peterson.
People on here are so freaking stupid to point to stats but not scoreboard. Carroll plays to win and always designs the best defensive gameplan to win. Sometimes that gameplan means giving up $hit load of stats but not pts! The goal is to not give up pts, right?
USC has the best DC and OC in the country. It is not fair but that is the huge reason why USC has dominated for 3 straight years. This was kinda a rebuilding year and next year will be Carrolls best team at USC.
Remember, this season should have had Mike Williams at WR. SCARY! Now I know why the NCAA wouldn't let williams back. It wouldn't have been fair!
USC also was without their #1 OL (Justice), #1 FB (hancock), and #1WR (lewis) for the year because all 3 missed the season for various reasons but all are back next year.
Since all 3 are back, and USC returns 16 starters not counting those 3 players, USC will easily win the NC again next year. NOBODY in the media mentions how Justice, Hancock, and Lewis are coming back. All 3 are big time studs plus Carroll will be bringing in at least a top 3 recruiting class.
3 years ago I said Caroll was building a dynasty at USC after the OB against Iowa. People laughed but I was right. USC is completely on a different level from the rest of college football it is scary.
Carroll destroyed a veteran Stoops team with freshman and sophomores. What is gonna happen when Carroll coaches a veteran team? Think about it. The QB's behind leinart are all more talented and 2/3 are just as smart. 5 star Booty, 5 star Sanchez, and 4 star Hinds.
I know i sound like a homer but I am telling everyone, if you couldn't beat USC this year, you are in serious trouble. If Carroll can win a NC with frosh and Sophomores, what is gonna happen for the next 5 years when he has a mix of all 4? Remember, USC had back to back #1 recruiting classes the last 2 years and prob. will have a #1 class again this year. Freshmen can and will play at USC and be successful. That is why he gets all the #1 classes. Quite amazing.
I told everyone at the beginning of the year. USC prob. would go undefeated but might be too young to beat the #2 team in the country whoever they play. This was a rebuilding year for USC. Just like last year. Why? USC lost so many players to graduation, draft, grades, injuries, and suspensions. Next year is USC's year. That was the #1 reason i hedged because USC is so freaking young.
If USC wins it all again next year, they will have the longest win streak ever in CFB!
Something to consider. People bashed TY WILLINGHAM for taking beatings against Carroll. Stoops took it worse. Looks like TY didn't get a fair shake. Remember, ND plays a lot tougher SOS than OU.

The day of the game, I went to eat lunch at my hotel on South Beach (beacon hotel) and guess who sat 2 tables away from me. Derek Jeter and Tino martinez. Pretty cool.
I am so pissed I didn't bet USC 5-1 before the OB but I will prob. be laying a huge bet again on USC to win it all again and as long as USC makes it there, you always can hedge because USC now without a doubt will be huge favorites. Middle or hedge.

agree with you about the past few years with SC and i'man arizona guy.....next year, complacency may set in and they might get tripped up somewhere along the line, esp early and if leinart goes pro. and you and i both know, a 1 loss pac-10 team WILL NEVER get to a bcs title game.......but a 1 loss sec-big 12 team...no problem
