First - The third foul on Delon Wright in the first half was horse shit. It was a clear jump ball and that changed the game.
Second - At the end of the game they usually just say it is over. The TV even shows Coach K tell the refs it was over. To make it such a point to bring players back from the locker room to shoot the free throw is asinine. It was blatant. And if you can't see the point people are making then you just don't get it. It's not about whether it was a foul or not. It's about the game being over and pulling players back to shoot a meaningless free throw. The only people who cared about that free throw is the gambling industry.
The 3 refs knew exactly what they were doing in both instances. And if you notice, it was the exact same guy. For God's sake, there is a ref in jail for shit like this and yet we pretend it doesn't happen. It's just usually not so obvious. And for those posters to pretend like it didn't happen, I have some land I want to sell you.

Third foul had no bearing on the game. Wright played all of the second half playing 33 minutes which is his average playing time.third foul would not have happened if Utah over the back call would have been called as Winslow went for rebound. Second foul on Okafor was a bad call changing how he played to keep from getting his third foul. Both side had fouls go against them.

He rebounded that ball with TEN SECONDS left! Could they have blown a whistle for a "jump ball"? Maybe. But there is NO DOUBT they missed TWO chances to call fouls before they finally did! I am not WRONG!
Now, forget your precious fucking spread. Is it fair for the refs to eat their whistles because, in their minds.....the "game is over"? Every single one of us, including you, has watched more games than we care to remember, where a team keeps fouling when they are down by 15 points!
These guys were down by FIVE! If you want to have a conspiracy on this, perhaps it was the guy who finally blew the whistle who didn't get the memo? After all, bookies the world over lost their asses when that last free throw went in!
This is a good point. Now if it were the other way around I would be more inclined to suspect something fishy.

It was 19-17 Duke when Wright got called for that nonsense foul, the score went to 27-17 with him on bench. He played different in second half seemed tentative. Kid averaged 1.6 fouls per 40 minutes. that third foul totally changed the game.
Well everyone knows that when you play Duke you play the refs as well, so if you aren't betting with Duke why would you bet this game?That is my ? nothing new about this.Duke and the officials take care of their backers.
