whatever happened to the square pool where winner got a single table game play -- did that happen? I take it no, from lack of activity in that thread
The winner wanted red on roulette and casino didn't allow video of it so I offered cash and that's how it's being handled.

Jack- Miss ya already. Thanks for the licorice shot, pina colada, the 3 card poker lesson, and for being the good luck charm I needed! Without a doubt, the most kick ass Vegas experience thus far.

Skipper, Smurphy, Noodle, and Bart- It was terrific meeting you- quite a solid group if I say so myself.
I apologize for my train wreck of an age guessing stunt, my skills are clearly off-par when inebriated, whoops.

Bart- I am a little disappointed in the lack of a wedding down there..Elvis sure knows how to do a ceremony ;) (your fianc? is a babe btw.)

Kickserv- thanks for the compliment! Now if only I had Gina Carano's abs, eh? ha (and go hawks!!)

Now, as I told Josh, golf lessons are in the works so that maybe I can roll with ya'll during the next golf outing. If that doesn't work out- I'll settle for sambuca with Jack in the golf cart :p

Cheers fellas :toast:

Hey Miss Simon! Great to meet you and Sean. Very good to know that this elderly crew has some youthful potential moving forward. Congrats to your "osprey based on Pacific Northwest tribal art" football team's big win. ...and oh yeah, say hi to Murphy for me!

Ah, get outa heeeaa...you bunch are hardly an elderly one.
Very happy about the "tribal osprey" win, and the cash I got out of it- Next year I'll have to go with my gut, and bet even more!.. If it weren't for Sean (frugal freddy) I woulda :p
I'll definitely say hi to Murphy.. what a funny coincidence! (Lets just hope you're not half the trouble maker he is.) jeeesus

Wanted to give my thoughts on the trip, even though it has been a few days. I did indeed have strep throat Jack, so had to get that taken care of Monday.

This was my first Vegas outing and it measured up to the three golf outings I have been to. It was actually a little better from a social point of view as far as getting to know everyone a little better.

Thoughts in no particular order:

Simonsays - Great to meet her and her hubby Sean. Did not get to spend too much time with them, but it was fun and hilarious! I hope they continue to represent the youth of madjacks and continue to participate in the outings. :toast:

yyz - Much like Simonsays, I didn't get to spend much time with him; but a very witty guy. I wish I would have brought the sticks so I could have played with you and Gary. Hopefully you can come to the golf outing and not be distracted by all the drinkers. :0008

Ronnie - Ditto to the above, but you're a Tennessee boy, and a good man as well. What got me about Ronnie is that he seems to always smiling and enjoying himself and everyone else. Look forward to getting up with you and Noodle soon.

Mama Bart and Papa Bart - Good people that fit right in with the rest of us. Anyone would be lucky to have them as parents and future in laws! The affection they show Linz is great to see and I know that always isn't easy.

Crapper and Mrs. Crapper - Really enjoyed having dinner with them, Jack and Noodle that night. They took us to a hole in the Mexican joint and loved it. Crapper good people - that for should:00hour:00hour:00hour:00hour:00hour

Dr. Feelgood - Another good dude that we had some fun times together out there. The night where you, Smurphy, and I wandered aimlessly for hours was great. Thanks for the hospitality my friend:0008

Smurphy - We formed the triumvirate with Jack, and soon found out that Jack was out long lost father. Since Smurphy is the chosen one, we thought it best that he let Jack know when he would be euthanized. :mj07: In all serious, it was great getting to know you and your kittens.

Noodle - So glad I met this guy. We hung out all day Friday and most of the day Saturday downtown. Just an all around good guy that I look forward to playing some golf down in Crossville with!!:toast:

Whatshisnuts - The more I get to know Gary, the more I like the guy. I didn't get to see him much, but thanks for the party room. I know we'll see each other again at the golf outing, so all the best until then my brother.

ppaBart and Linz - Bart has a good one in Linz, and he deserves it. He was the first real out of town MJer that I got to know really well and has been a good friend ever since. Great to see that you out-kicked your coverage with Linz, which adds to how great of a person she really is.:toast:

Madjack - I will preface this by saying I am going to be honest, but in no way will this take away my bitching at him at the outings. Having said that, Jack has become a great friend of mine. From changing our flight to get out a day early, drinking 190s, to eating in every diner in Vegas - it was just awesome to spend a great deal of time with the ole boss. I was with Jack the majority of the time, and we laughed our asses off. There are also a couple of observations I saw that many need to know:

1 - Jack loves this site, but moreover, the friends and members of this site. He went out of his way to contact everyone when we were going to do something or go somewhere. He was like a kid in a candy store putting those pictures up on the site every morning. He truly wanted to make those who couldn't come, be a part of it in their own way.

2 - He really cares about these outings. I know not everyone can go to Vegas for Super Bowl every year, nor can you make the golf outing every year. However, do yourself a favor and try to make one. I was timid about going three years ago to the golf outing, but Jack goes out of his way to make you feel involved. There has not been one person who was a jerk or went out of his way to make you feel uncomfortable. In fact, there are several guys who I miss that I haven't seen since the first outing.

Until summer,

Skipper:0008
