Then its a better time to buy in my opinion Al, I think the market for real estate has been crappy this year, as many others do. However, I think it will be MUCH better next year. It has been stable up until this year 2002-2005 were good-excellent RE years, 2006 is a bad one. However, we'll see some recovery next year. I predict 2007 not as good as 2002-2005 but things will still appreciate unlike 2006. Also, Vegas would be one of the good markets in term of places to buy. Just my opinion though.

i would check the market before buying. i've read alot about vegas and some of the properties are hurting bad.

90% likely that i will try to get there from either Friday night to Sunday night, or Saturday morning to Monday morning, depending on what my training schedule is for the 2nd 2-week stint at Flagship Academy....LOL .... the SB party, however, has dropped to only about a 20% likliihood since i will be beginning a 2nd parttime job with TSA shortly after returning from my month in Dallas. not sure if i'll be able to get that weekend off with them, but it is already secured with American Eagle.

Word. Vegas isn't a bargain anymore and there's very little investment upside for at least a few years I believe. What will be very interesting is to see how many of these proposed highrise condos fall through. Opening prices way too high, very few people biting. Celebrities dig ;em, but smart money staying away. Some of these complexes are really awesome, so I hope some are built, and eventually they'll be some bargains.

But the big issue is quickly becoming water. All golf course construction has been on hold for 2 years now. No more will be allowed to be built until they balance the number of parks and then they'll only be allowed to use recycled water (don't really know what that means - but only about 2 courses have that system right now).

I digress. Hey Jack - I'll most likely be there those days. I'll let y'all know....
