go to www.hotels.com & type in the days they are going. then when you get the list of hotels..go to the orleans & you should be able to read some reviews from previous guests.

A locals joint. As far as I remember the best part is the cocktail waitress uniforms or lack thereof. CHEEKS GALORE :00hour

Oops I read its your daughter. Disregard last transmission.

Yes a rent-a-car is a MUST at that location. Not much of a pool. Plenty of parking and no traffic hassles like the STRIP.

Okaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've used Travelworm...i4Vegas and a bunch of other search engines """" Travelaxe"""" which uses about 12 search engines at once to get u the best deal ... Las Vegas Res Systems there's a ton of em out there and u never know when a cheapie will pop up....also if have a Car id suggest staying fer a week at a short term apartment rental
I'v stayed at Manor Suites which is just past Mandalay bay and the rates used to be $199/week when they opened a few years ago but were approx $279/week last time i was there...i usually stay a month or more so get a monthly rate. ..Breaks down to about $33/night fer a month and this one is a nice place..there are others Budget Suites, Holiday Royale and a ton of em on Boulder HY but that's a ways from the strip....Also u may want to check Polo Towers or Jockey Club for a time share rental. both on the strip.....Polo is very nice..Jockey Club been there fer ever ......have gotten deals there too..............all the other time shares rent too but the ones near the strip are pricey like Fairfield......there's one out on either Trop or Flamingo called Club Soleil or some such i've had friends stay there fer $56/night.

One suggestion Jake, is if there are flying from Toronto, get them to drive the hour to Buffalo and they will save a hell of a lot of the taxes. They can pick up a cheap fare from either Southwest or United and once you add in the Gas and parking it is still cheaper than flying out of Pearson.

For Hotels, if you call some of them direct they always have rooms at some discounts. Call Mirage Mandaly etc and see what they can get for price.

Hope your doing well and they enjoy the trip!!

I stayed at the extended stay across the street from the orleans. while in vegas which wasn't too bad. To get to the strip they have a shuttle that runs to Barbary coast and from there I was able to walk.

They were the only place that we found that had Omaha every day

On the course!
I have stayed at The Orleans my last two trips. It was very nice. I am also in my 40's now, and don't crave the "action" of the Strip like a younger person might.

If they have never been to Las Vegas, you might not want to set them up way off of the Strip like that. Otherwise, they are a wonderful casino with fine restaurants, and they even have bowling and movie theatres, if they don't have a big gambling budget.

If you want to take in a show while in town.....

I suggest going to the Mirage and getting tickets for the show Love if you like the beatles. O is also very good at the Bellagio.

Here are some of my favorite restaurants there:

High priced: Michael Mina's at the Bellagio

Mid priced: Grand Lux Cafe at the Venetian

Low priced: The noodles joint right next to the Venetian sportsbook or some of the great hamburger joints in town such as in-n-out burger.
