I had a great time, folks!
(remember, I wasn't totally sober during this trip and might miss a few things)
Thursday - went to check-in and the room wasn't ready so went to have lunch at pf changs with kosar. I wasn't hungry so ordered an appetizer (some crab meat and noodle thing).
then agent and happy hippo stopped by and had a drink with us. I got the call that the room was ready and we headed up.
spent a few hours there with kosar, agent, happy hippo, terryray, raymond and rolltide. I already knew and have met that crew on several to many occasions and already knew I was in good company and it was.
all we had to drink was vodka and vo that matt and I picked up on the cab ride over so we ordered some mixers and beer.
we must have spent 6 hours there? and got pretty loaded before we left for the voodoo lounge over at the Rio.
we met some of the other Indy folks over there (I'll get the names later because I was buzzin and don't want to leave anybody out). we didn't spend much time there because they wouldn't let kosar in so I took him under my wing to try and straighten him up and get him in.
agent and raymond hung around too so we could straighten him up enough to at least get in (past the bouncer that was a prick). I mean, come on, kosar is totally harmless.
agent got him water and pretzels? LOLOL but matt wasn't have any of that and I tried to steady him enough to give it another try. this time the guy saw me coming and was pretty pissed that I even tried to bring matt in again and threatened calling security so we gave up.
raymond told us to meet him at the bar downstairs and I pointed matt in the direction of the bathroom and that was the last I saw of either of those guys. for a few hours anyway.
then agent appears (I do not remember who else) and we headed to some casino (I don't remember what one) and I played BJ with those guys for a few minutes, didn't have any luck and I think I headed back to the Aladdin with terryray but I could have gone solo. remember, I have been drinking since about 1pm and now it's around midnight.
so I played BJ there for a few hours and got a call from kosar. he was completely rejuvenated and wondering where I was. I told him I was just outside the center bar playing BJ and to walk around until he saw me.
I could easily be seen or could easily see him when he made the round but he never showed up. finally, after about 6 phone calls we found out that he was at the Rio and I was at the Aladdin. no wonder! :mj07:
he showed up in the next 20 minutes or so and we played video poker in the bar while drinking all night until we had breakfast at the buffet and got a few hours sleep in before we had to get ready for the get together at Monte Carlo.
