After 23 years of having this site I'm really tired of getting myself in the middle between guys I consider friends. But it doesn't matter because it's always my fault. Either way, it's always my fault.
The best thing I pretty much did after a full year of it is, I turned the news off and I quit giving my opinion.
Maybe I should shut politics talk down. What about the posts where there is a fine line? I get blamed again! Hell, they get pissed if I move their thread to this shithole.
Maybe I should let kickserv be the forum moderator and let him loose like IE. Go ahead....

There's nothing wrong with politics, it would be nice though to be able to hear other members opinion from time to time without someone jumping them saying they are wrong or making a wise ass comment about their intelligence. People don't have to agree but be they can be somewhat respectful to each other. I'd love to hear others views on politics and days event, not everything in life is Dem/Rep, black or white.
We already know where certain posters stand on issues, we see it day in and day out. Let um have their fights down below and blow off their steam there. How many times of late have you seen posters in the General Forum say "I'm not looking for a fight" when they post? They want to give an opinion but aren't looking for a fight and backlash.
I actually enjoy WHN posts for the most part, he's very informed and passionate....I take issue when he goes on the attack because someone has a different view than his.
Do I get pissed, hell yes I do...If I feel someone is being disrespectful or coming at me I'll speak my mind...:0008
