It would be hard to find two statistics that reveal more clearly what's happened to the middle-class in this country.

I see--in this time of unemployment crisis the liberals look to largest employer in the world to bitch at.

I believe Wal Marts ave wage nationally is $11.75 an hour--how does that compare with your welfare check?

I would imagine to get this # in poverty level they use the ole liberal math of putting them as head of household single income with family of 4--

Lets look at the real culprit of poverty/deficits
It's quite simply--

The cause--
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welfare

After the Great Society legislation of the 1960s, for the first time a person who was not elderly or disabled could receive a living from the American government.[15] This could include general welfare payments, health care through Medicaid, food stamps, special payments for pregnant women and young mothers, and federal and state housing benefits

The effect--note the time line

effectswelfarereformchart3.ashx

Results--reward them for doing nothing and many will do just that-

--- and ironically many of these have the audacity to actually try to diss people working for a living--even find a few bashing largest employer in the world and its employees.

You never do disappoint. I would love to see you raise a family on 11.75 an hour. Oh but first we would need to deduct the CEO pay from that average. Hmmmm.

You just can't start your day without a shot at the darkies. Oh and its from our friends at The Heritage Foundation. You know, your favorite neo-con think tank. You know the one that said we needed a new Pearl Harbor so we could fuck over the middle class a lot faster. You know the middle class that you belong to.

I see you doggie.

Budweiser Breath... I didn't "bash" Wal-Mart. I made a comment based on my observation of the list that Lumi posted. My comment apparently went over your head, as it alluded to the forces at work behind the shrinking of the middle-class in America.

You've been sleepwalking in your neoconservative Republican trance so long, you're unable to recognize even the most obvious socio-economic trends and forces at work in this country.

You and your tea-bagger base of mindless lemmings are the wet dream of the wealthy ruling class and every corrupt politician they've bought and paid for.

I don't consider myself part of the wealthy ruling class.

I just rule :toast:

As for wet dreams......

Dear Hustler,

I never thought this would happen to me.

I'm a painfully average white guy.

Last month I was at a laundramat,

and the next thing I knew .....

I was covered in fabric softener

I'm sure you have worked for a lot less. I have no doubt on that fact.

By the way, i'm not dissing the employees. I'm dissing the company who is taking advantage of the employees and the system. You should try it sometime. You know helping your fellow worker out instead of aligning yourself with corporations that don't give a fuck about you. You are like a fucking broken record. I'm sure you are the life of the party.
