Wayne, you've asked questions about Gitmo, terrorists, torture, etc., in this manner many times. I know I've responded in kind about this a few times, and it remains a scenario that is arguable at the very least, and at odds with living in a true democracy scenario in a very real sense.
You believe it's more important to engage in these activities to the exclusion of any other way of thinking or acting. I get that. Many people don't share your viewpoint, including myself, on many of these issues. I think there are ways to behave in true honorable and law-abiding ways that can also have strong and positive effects on making sure our country is safe. But to be continually lectured about how our country needs to act by people who support the last administration is again arguable, at best. This is not a black and white area - it's very gray - and there is not one true good solution. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but that doesn't make everyone right or even sensible about some things.
The last administration REQUIRED we all follow their desires with blind faith. We all learned that in doing that, we were foolish, in some cases. And we continue to learn that it may not have been just in SOME cases. There simply is more than one way to look at most situations, and there really only seems to be one side of this argument that can only allow for one way to think...and that to me is wrong.
