With all the cures they come up with in the next 10-15 years, you'll still be playing tennis when you're 140 years old :0003

va. n. had it covered......

also,if you have any asian markets around your way, give these lotte binch biscuits a try...
2 grams of fat per wafer...1 saturated..3 grams of sugar and 42 calories per cookie.........which isn`t much(check out how much sugar is in a 12 oz soda)....

i eat 2 with a glass of skim milk...you could easily eat 3 and be good considering all the fat ,sugar and carbs you`d get in a opastry or a tasty cake...

verrry tasty...

i also make a low-fat sharp cheddar grilled cheese in the pizza drawer of my mini-oven...

i throw a couple slices of the local salt free whole wheat bread(it tastes the same to me) in the drawer open faced..let em start to crisp...then throw a slice of kraft 2% milk /sharp cheddar cheese on one of the pieces of bread along with some chopped up onions and green peppers...you could throw a few bacon bits on it if that floats your boat...or just experiment yourself....

very good...and not all that bad for you......

I am setting a goal for myself to live to be 88 yrs old as I do not want my children to be burdened with changing my diapers:facepalm:
My father lived to be 82 and drank a pint of whiskey and smoked Pall Mall cigarettes. He did. however, eat Meats and raw vegetables along with mixing two raw eggs in his tomato juice each morning. His occupation was brick mason until the age of 68.
With all that said, I believe genetics has Everything to do with how long we live as long as your not too obsessive in diet or drinking.
At 52, I work out 4 times a week, weight lifting and cardio and no smoking for me. I drink nightly......sorry, my Irish heritage is part of my culture. I just had my executive physical and they found nothing wrong head to toe. I take no medications, only a multi vitamin and that is it.
I eat Red meat, once a week, usually filet mignon. and fish 5 times a week, and pizza or pasta one night a week. I am going to live my life as I have and not worry about the no meats, or living like a fricking rabbit. I grill a Massive Hamburger on occasion and find that as my treat. Screw eating wheat germ and living in a bubble, I am going to live my life however long that It is....:toast:

Good for you Weas, I finally have started to get more serious about my conditioning and for about a month I have gotten to the gym around 5, rode the bike for about 50 min, then some weights.
I also started watching my caloric intake and cut out the fast food totally. I'm in sales, so I have to prepare my lunch the night before and take it with me or I end up going through a drive thru. If I dont prepare my food I sabotage my eating habits.
I'm in the process of creating a more healthy lifestyle and learning about eating foods that arent really too processed.
It's tough, but I really feel much better already. I got so overweight that I dont sleep well at night, and I'm betting as I get closer to my target, my sleep will be more sound.
I'm 44 and have finally realized I'm not invulnerable. lol
