So I've received like a thousand emails from newbies asking me why I play the way I play; Teasers, buying points, etc.

Here's the deal... ever wonder why handicappers are pretty damn accurate with the spreads? It's because for the most part they are taking averages and medians and then they turn those numbers into lines. So when you bet a line straight up, you are truly gambling (50/50)

My goal is to eliminate the gamble and to hedge and manipulate a line to get it to where I believe the odds of winning are truly on my side. Even if it means putting up a dime to win a nickel... Who cares... It's about winning.

Last night I shaved 4pts off the celtics game and won because of it. Folks that had them straight up, lost their shirts.

There are some teams that are simply gonna win, like tonight, Miami will win... but by how much is the question...

Nets sometimes get blown out by 40 and sometimes its within 6 like when they played the Cavs. Their victory last night was a fluke.
