Season: 0-0

Here we go boys! Best of Luck to Everyone this season.

Over 41 Giants/Redskins L

Major hit to the NY defensive Line combined with a new offensive scheme for Washington under new coach Jim Zorn should lead to more scoring oppurtines for them. I also expect Eli to have his best year as an NFL Qb. Should be forced to air it out more as I feel thier defense will give up its fair share of points.

Miami +3.5 L
Under 36 W

Both teams with fresh starts this year. Should take both at least a half to get things clicking on offense. Farve with the world on his shoulders might do just enough (make enough mistakes) to keep Miami in this one

Houston +7 L

Look out, but the Texans might make some noise this year. Forget about the question mark at running back as I think Slaton will be the man come seasons end. The Steelers have looked awful this preseason and this one will be closer than most think.

Tampa Bay +4 P

Still too many question marks on that Saints Defense for me. A very solid running game keeps the Bucs in this one.

Tennessee +4 W

Like above, a solid ground attack along with the single most under rated coach in the NFL will be in this from the get go. They have a guy who can kick fg's from 50+ in his sleep and this might set up for another last second victory.

Atlanta +4 W

You heard it here first. This will be the suprise team of the season. Lord knows the owner needs some good luck to go his way. This rookie Qb is the goods and now with a top 15 running back in thier stable, should be competitive all season long.

Under 38 Minn/GB L
The Packers , in my opinion have one of the top 5 defences in the league. You know the Vikings will stop the run, and don't expect Favre's replacement to make miracles happen Opening up on Monday Night.

Good Luck Players!!!!:00hour

Mully, I like Detroit also. Atlanta has a new coach, rookie QB, and a lot of holes and unanswered questions. Just curious as to why you like them, especially if the line is Detroit -3?

Well, for starters, Atlanta has won 4 of the past 5 season openers and are going up against a Detroit defense that ranked 23rd vs the run, 31st vs the pass and 32nd in points allowed last season. The addition of Turner for Atlanta will be huge as they should be able to mix it up pretty well on offense creating some nice play-action down field for the rookie. Detroit is so one demesional only gaining more than 68 yards in half of their games last year on the ground. Factor this in along with the fact the Lions are 5-19 SU on the road the last 3 years and Lost their last 3 road games last season by a combined score of 127-37 and I'll gladly take the home team getting any number of points in this spot.

That being said, Detroit could go in there and win by 14.

Good Luck this week and all season LMM.

Skins offense is sh*t. They have showen squat in there preaseaon games, their last 3 Preseason games?
13 , 3 and 3

Not good scores to be going into a divisional game against the Giants.

Gonna need the Giants to score 35 atleast, if that 41 is gonna get coverd.

I agree with you! They are my surprise team as well. Don't forget about Roddy White!

gl this season buddy

thanks toy...

adding....

Under 42 Arizona/San Fran W

Both of these are a bit underated on the defensive side of the ball. Sorry, but I just don't see O'sullivan or whatever the hell his name is doing much. Look for Frank gore to carry the load for The 49'ers and eat up clock. The Cardinals have a couple nice backs themselves who should see pleanty of carries as I feel the best part on the 2008 San Fran d is their secondary.

That's it! maybe.....

Mully not trying to dissuade you but one of the reasons you liked Atlanta was they won 4 out of the last 5 season openers which is true however they went 3-2 vs the number. Detroit on the other hand has also won 4 of 5 openers and went 5-0 ats. Detroit fired martz because he was kinda one dimensional so that may the reason they never rushed for shit last year.
Like I said not trying to sway you one way or the other but I think Detroit will cover this number against a team that is clearly in the rebuilding mode, Detroit has been rebuilding for 46 years now I think and that should give them the edge in this one.

Solid as per usual.

Methinks Slaton is steal too, though not sure Texans brass figures it out fast enough, barring injury.

Like the MIA play too, though we may be in the minority, which is OK.

Interesting ATL analysis, wish I could see it that way. Pundits usually wrong, so that is a positive. I'll settle for sitting on sidelines, admiring your work on that one. Last place team wins that division every year, test that trend here.

Like your totals as a rule, love to see more.

Have A GREAT YEAR, AGAIN.
