If Kelly wasn't at Notre Dame don't think that line would be but about 6 1/2 or 7. Think he's getting some respect already. Just noticed it's down to 8.5 at 5 Dimes now. Like your play, but Kelly does spook me some.

cruncher I agree with you... but remember Marve, the transfer from the U, is Purdue's new QB... He will be a nice addition to the nation's 34th ranked and Big 10's 3rd ranked passing attack... I think he will be the key in keeping Purdue in this one... I think this one will be close but ND gets the win... I think this is a set up game IMHO... all the hype on Kelly and this being his first game at ND and it's a rivalry game

There's a lot crap going on with UNC right now... I hope nothing happens because I'm dying to see this D against LSU

The Zips indeed are not projected to do well in Coach Ianello's first campaign. I have met Rob and he's a good man and highly motivated. I think he will do well recruiting as he has a great personality and a lot of energy. It's just not going to happen over night with this cast of characters but keep an eye on them to really improve the next couple of seasons.

Starting to rethink UNC and liking LSU more and more...

Northwestern -4 Think Vandy is in for a long long year again... Northwestern by wins by at least 7

Mississippi St -21 Not so much a play on MSU but against Memphis... MSU won't need to do much because Memphis will give them all the points they need.

Nebraska -36 Kinda iffy on this one because of the chalk but I don't see WKU being competitive in this one.

Texas -28 Rice doesn't stand a chance here... Texas wins 52-10

Auburn -30 Blowout... even the 2nd team will put up points in this one

SMU +13 SMU is heading in the right direction and think this one stays close... also thinking about a small play on the over

Starting to look at Kentucky a little bit myself Corley although I usually try to avoid their games. Louisville is in transition and although Brooks is gone for Ky the core of the staff is pretty much in tact, and they brought on some line coaches from Arkansas and Miss St (I believe) that should help. I'm not quite as concerned about the line as I initially was. They've got some talent and size, it's just young...but that doesn't mean they can't play. Also, they should be in excellent shape from what I hear. Got a new strength coach from the Bengals that used to work for the BBall team under Pitino. Sometimes just being in better shape than your opponent can be huge, especially late in the game. A lot of this may be wishful thinking but think Joker (Phillips)will eventually take things to a new level for Ky. Recruiting is picking up already and they have always been well coached. With all of this being said, it may be more of a anti Louisville thing than a pro Ky thing tho. I do think Charlie (Strong) is going to be good for Louisville, it's just that Ky has a head-start on them. Keep in mind all of this is what I 'would like' to see happen...:142smilie

First play of the year :toast:

Going with USC -21... Don't think Hawaii has the D to stop the Trojans... Plus with it being Kiffin's first game as the Trojan HC he will want to win big... Hawaii was 107th against the run a year ago... Plus USC has weeks to prepare for the spread attack
