Week 11 plicks with upsetter for this wk., lowell

This is all about seeing if teams I'm using in teasers would cover regular line bets. Last year quite a few covered without the tease pts. added. So far this year - they are doing the same thing (check out my previous posts).

Here's 3 of the teams that I will be using for my teasers for this week:

FAU -10 - this one is going in a fat teaser for me.
Baylor/TCU OVER whatever the line is
Tenn. +2

lowell, here's the upsetter for this week (much better price than last week's upsetter) .... Kansas St. upsets the Shorthorns.

Good luck today. As a Duke fan who saw Staubach play in Durham in the early 60?s I will be very surprised if Duke can keep the game close. Playing over 29.5 pts for Irish and using them in several teasers. Should be more Irish fans in the stands than Duke fans. 38-17 Irish. Hope I am right.

Gotta apologize to the two members (complete w. keyboards ) about my poor timing getting back to yas. Added to soo much other stuff, I'm a little depressed concerning a show winner classic TeeBird in the garage that refuses to start. I just finished diagnosing the problem and now I gotta fix it. UGH!

- Mostly from their last game, knocking off their inTRA-state rival and covering the line by 23 1/2. And Kansas ain't dead wood either. I watched the replay of that game and was really impressed with State. I believe that game was in the Kansas house too. I like a team that appears to be in OVERdrive in their last 3 games, compare that to the Longhorn last three. AND even if State played OKie on the moon, knocking off a team that had an unstoppable offence was enough for me. Admittedly, Texas has most of the statistical factors I use going for them along with home advantage. Not enough for me BUT...

Add all of the above and I gots OVER for today's game in a good looking teaser today as well as the upset play. Thank you for your interest, Bos.I think they started and I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE SCORE IS right now, just got done celebrating the GREATEST Miracle ever for me in a sports bet that went my way.

Anybody else watch that game? I had Baylor game OVER 48 and changed the channel when only 12 "fluckin" pts. were scored going into the 4th quarter. LUCKILY I did go back to it and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Needed two teams that could only score 12 pts. for 3/4s of the game had to get a field goal to get to overtime and did just that in the final seconds of the game AND then FOUR TDs in a row or a whole bunch of consecutive FGs. I gets the field goal to tie then FIVE continuous TDs :0034

CONGRATS, to whomever had the over in that "miracle".

Lowell: I saw your name as an ONliner here when I posted today's (Sat) plays and just knew you would stop in. There are soo many great games to watch today and what hurts is some are going on simultaneously . I stuck to the Baylor game till the end and checked to see how Virginia was doing. That's exactly all I know about now ... and as soon as I get off this I'm back to the TV to get scores. I got the DVR thingy going for the LSU/Bama game going on to watch with a pizza tonight. That's a game I really wanted to see (but NOT play though).

I did what I usually do and play one or two weekday games and used the Irish dudes with the plays below.
Dame got very good grades when I handicapped their game, but I didn't put them in any of my bigger plays I put in LATE last night. That team is a bit of an UNDERachiever and not very reliable. However, they got really good figures in my toolbag and,as a horse player would say, "thems are dropping in class" .

I shoulda stopped posting right there! I'm seeing all the stuff I posted after that and wondering how the hell I could have Notre Dame -6 in BOTH a teaser and a parlay??? Maybe I screwed up when I did the cut and paste from my 5Dimes report or was still excited about the "miracle" Baylor game and pasted the wrong line somehow. I was in a rush to get to the TV when I did that post. BTW, I don't dwink alcohol. You know, like "dwink until ya dwap" thing.

AND, I wrote to lowell that I used Notre Dame in only a couple of small parlays with a couple of teams I liked during the weekdays. SHEEET, I see now that I used N.D. ALL OVER the place in parlays and teasers. Not in a single side bet though.

Wrap up time:
I played something like 5 or 6 parlays/teasers and only two of the teams that I intended to use (Sooners and Virginia) killed one of them. LUCKILY, they both fell in only ONE of those tickets. Funny thing is my 2+ unit bet on that OVER "miracle" game and the same on a FAU single bet ticket were mostly responsible for a VERY nice SAT. I did play the "Upset Special" as single Money Liner and that game was close, but no ceeegar.

I think I'll post just teams that I am gonna use next week if I see some interest here again like I did this week.

One more thang - I still have two pending tickets that will cash; one has NFL Giants @ +7 1/2 in a 10 pt. teaser and the other one has KC Chiefs @ -260 in a 3 team parlay. And, YES, I just DOUBLE checked it too in the Dimes pending bets report. Maybe the Giants 10 pt. teaser is worthless to ya but that there Chiefs play just may be a nice "Parlay Stuffer " for somebody.

Best of luck to you today w KC and the Giants. I also had the over in TCU. Crazy how that hit while I lost TCU plus 3. Good luck w the T bird.I miss those October afternoons driving my 1981 red 911 Cabriolet on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Would put the top down and turn on the heater .

Lowell, looks like we think alike - we appreciate fine autos and footsbawl players. I wouldn't be able to identify the year of a Cabriolet but I do know that any one I saw sure as hell got my approval. I know they're good lookers and behave themselves too. TeeBIRD?.. well for me thems are just BEAUTIFUL lookers and get plenty of attention.

I was hoping the Chiefs woulda been the cover cause that parlay was worth $$ and the Giants produced maybee 3 small bags of peanuts for me. I'm very satisfied with the overall results this weekend and hope yours was profitable as well.

Funny thing is I don't ever remember playing a game with TCU in it; I'm not familiar enough with that team. Some weeks I don't have an upset pick but IF I do I'll make sure I post it in here or, IF you prefer, I can post it in your thread? I don't like posting plays that I work hard to come up with for our "guests"; I know most posters luv to get them HIGH views totals. For me, I do get a LOT of Views and couldn't care less about them.

Some day I'm gonna write in here one of the funniest true stories regarding Views and Forums.

Ooops almost forgots............ Below is a pic. stored from my Google outa space drive. Took it several weeks ago. It looks great outside and interior and it runs great. AND it will will start good after I put in a new starter solenoid that I just bought. BTW, it's for sale cause of terrible medical bills we've encountered recently. The price is too low but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. It blends in well with the Florida beaches and the "chicks' surround it often with plenty of "Owwes n Ahhs". Too bad they don't have a nickle in their pockets. I'll miss it, that's forsho.
