Geez, can I bet against you being burnt down and Steelers score 48 and I win against a still solid rush defense and a Super Bowl winning coach? I mean Ravens suck bad, but will try for a half anyway against their hated rival. I would guess 31-13 could happen with Clausen and 27-20 type game with Schaub.. As much as peeps hate Harbaugh, he's okay to coach another year regardless of their record. The fake punt still blows my mind last week, but they might beat Squeelers at home... :0corn

Steelers won their monster game last week, why win in dramatic fashion vs a team that lost by 20 to the Chiefs at home and 25 to Seattle??? This is a classic look-ahead game, even against the horrible Ravens.

I can't blame anybody for taking the Ravens. The line is definitely inflated, the whole world will be on the Steelers spread, teasers, and parlays, the books don't give money away, and things that look easy usually aren't. The books got crushed last week, are they going to get crushed again this week by giving away money on PIT and NE? It sure doesn't seem likely judging by my 40+ years experience betting this game.

But, the Ravens aren't fielding a professional football team. The team is made up of rookies, practice squad players and NFL rejects that no other team wanted. Ben will have a field day and he's looking forward to this. The whole team is looking forward to THIS game. This is the ultimate revenge game of all. Ravens stole one from them in Pittsburg earlier that never should have happened. Tomlin is still hearing shit about how he managed that game. They really, really want to embarrass Baltimore. Because of the Ravens they even lost a Sunday night national prime time TV game. They aren't looking ahead. To what, Cleveland? They're pissed.

Not trying to talk you out of anything, just throwing my thoughts out there. Maybe somebody can talk me down off the ledge. I'm still pissed that I didn't win 10x more money than I did the last 2 weeks fading this team. I backed off because winning money betting NFL isn't usually as easy as what it seems but that last 2 weeks proved it can be. Too bad Denver didn't beat PIT to make this one even stronger.

I think the squares have another huge week especially if they pound the Steelers in every way possible.

Good luck.

The line moved to 10' +100 at Bookmaker which is basically the same as -10 -110. The line remains the same at 1Vice. The total 47'

Books are saying the score will be 29-19. I can't see the Ravens scoring 19 with Flacco much less a beat up Schaub and I can't see the Steelers scoring less than the 40's.

Comments from fans that know this Ravens team, about this game, from a forum I frequent.

http://forum.russellstreetreport.com/showthread.php?139002-Steeler-week

A. Brown went 16 receptions for 189 and 2 TDs against the Denver defense. I shudder to think....

this defense bout to get fucked

can you imagine how traumatized this D unit is about to become after lining up ten yards off the Steelers receivers all day

my high school offense would put up 21 points on this dean pees defense

they just torched the best secondary in all of football yesterday, what do you think is going to happen?

Exactly! Our passive, bend but don't break Pees defense is a match made in heaven for the bad guys to put up even more impressive stats. They will 'clean house' as payback for the Ravens knocking them Out of the playoffs last year, and then for beating them this year, effectively making it an uncertainty as to whether or not they will even make the playoffs this year. Bring the brown bags with you on Sunday, fans .... this game is going to be ugly!

Ravens familiarity with Pissburgh is the only thing that gives them a chance of losing by less than 3 touchdowns

I would love to be optimistic, but this one could get real ugly. Shareece Wright covering Antonio Brown? Lardarius Webb's corpse covering Wheaton or Bryant? Roethlisberger having time to cook Christmas dinner back there with our nonexistent pass rush? M&T full of Steelers fans? At least its not on national TV. Just put this season out of its misery already.

Antonio Brown, Bryant and Ben carved up the best secondary in football yesterday, the number defense in the league bruh they killed them throw the air like it was nothing...what you think is gonna happen? Pees is already shitting his pants you think we are going to see 10yrd cushions? Try 15yrds this game because we are going to get beat deep ALOT!

This will be a strange Ravens-Steelers game. The intensity will be several notches lower. In fact, I can easily see the Steelers overlooking this game and coming out a bit flat. Ravens could make this a game.

We joke a lot about Unleash Hell but Im scared that might really be the case Sunday. I never count my team out under almost any circumstance but this has been an unusual year to put it nicely. I think this team has given about all it can give and is about on E. Steelers meanwhile have everything to play for and theyll be turned up for this one.

Ill be watching as always hoping for the best though. I dont care how banged up we are or how many guys are out I know theyll give it all theyve got..... just wont be nearly enough Im afraid.

Harb is saying they may play Mallett. Why not?

Ravens OC Marc Trestman believes Ryan Mallett is prepared to start Week 16 against the Steelers

"I think he is [ready]," Trestman said. "The one thing that has been so noticeable this week is how the three of them have worked together to prepare for this game, helping Ryan to get ready to play." The last part of the quote is interesting because it suggests the Ravens are preparing as if Mallett will start. Coach John Harbaugh has refused to name a starter, but he did suggest earlier in the week Mallett would play if he was ready. It is possible we will not know the starter until the team takes the field for their first offensive play Sunday, but at this point, Mallett seems like the favorite.

Funny chit, Jack....:toast:
My steelers will win so back the truck up and pound the ML at whatever number you can find, but they will take their foot off the gas at halftime after being up 14 and win this game by less than 7.
That's my thoughts so you should be golden laying the 10 or 10.5 or 12 or 15 or whatever the number is....:mj07:
