Minny has had shit for QB's for most of last 25 years...why is that??? GB has had luxury cus they know what there doing.
Let's also not forget that very rarely do the packers sign big name free agents. It is rare exception that they do, and instead have had huge success in drafting smartly, and developing that talent into the high impact players they are today.
hate has nothing to do with it? Vikings win 4 more games this year if they had Peterson and not the injuries. nobody could have predicted that at the beginning of the season. Vikes would have 10 wins right now. bridgewater is going to be good and the defense is going to be light years ahead. all this remains if it stays healthy. hate has nothing to do with it, I think you have more hate towards the Vikings then I do the Packers

you guys act like Green Bay has this amazing roster and the Vikings have nothing but shit players. The difference between the teams is Rodgers and is a big difference. so for the Vikings to catch the Packers they have to develop a QB and a defense. Both are on track, Teddy is playing well and they have a solid young group of defensive players to build around. the Vikings current general manager is doing a good job, they had to gut the team cause The ownership allowed Brad Childress to set the organization behind 5 years.

Inconsistant defense. Defense still wins championships, and the packers have been going home early in playoffs last few years without one. They made big strides by beating playoff teams this year at home, but would need to win a big game in lets say Seattle to get to get over the hump. But you already know that, you're just trying to get pool player going. :lol:

that's been my biggest criticism, they have been trying to revamp that defense for 3 years, it's getting better but it's like they have an arrogance, defense sucked in 2011 and 2012, but they do nothing to improve it, bring back the same personel and act like it's fine. a free agent or two could have helped. probably the next step cause they certainly improved the offensive line.
this year they signed peppers due to pressure by the fans to do something, it shouldn't have come to that

Skill position players are brutal, though if Charles Johnson keeps getting better he'll be ok, Jennings is done, Patterson is to stupid to learn a route, and the running back carousel isn't nfl ready.

Xavier Rhodes in his second season is a stud, he's better than any corner the Pack have. Vikings play a lot of man coverage where he's singled up on the #1. he's played very well. you are forgetting Everton griffin at de and OLB Anthony Barr, those two are all over the field. they have starry players in Joseph and minnerlyn. the Vikings big weaknesses on defense are the MLB and weak side linebacker and the nickel corner. 3-4 years? come on man, many of the players will be gone. look they would have won 3-4 more games with Peterson nobody would have predicted him to be suspended.
yeah bridgewater is ok? he's on track to be good, really good and you made the case. His offensive line is making him run for his life and his weapons are weak yet he has completed over 70% of his passes the last 4 games. the offensive line is banged up big time and Jennings is not done, now that Teddy has been in rythm he's been much better
I pound Green Bay cause they won a Super Bowl with the best qb and youngest roster 4 years ago and have done nothing but regressed. they should not be a 1 and done team. maybe that's all the Paxker fans want is to win a crappy division title and be eliminated by the elite in first round? I would want much more with #12. yeah all they do is win? not on the road and this was the first year in a long time they beat playoff caliber teams but still no road wins and NEVER EVER win as a dog.
I do think teddy will be a good player, and like what Turner has done with him. Rhodes would be the nickel corner on g.b. shields and Williams are better right now than he is, maybe not in a year or two but now they are. 3-4 years away from competing with g.b.
it's like the afc east, teams get close to new england, but at the end of the day they have Brady and no one else does, same with Rodgers and the nfc north. Detroit is good this year and challenging but they will stink next year when suh leaves and they probably cut mega-tron.
I will say this though, the next real challenge from a north team year after year will be Minnesota, but not for a few years though.
well the difference with those AFC east teams is they have had absolutely no quarterback play or any offensive weapons in some time. if AP comes back next year and Vikes improve O line they will definitely be a wild card contender
oh and Rhodes is better right now. look at the numbers the other teams ones put on him playing man. Packers play a much different defense with zone blitzing with a 3-4 disguising weaknesses. you also forget that Rhodes plays Rodgers twice and Jordy limited against Vikes. one busted td catch game 1 and limited to underneath in minny. look at what he did to Calvin and to the Bears receivers game 1, they didn't even challenge him. teams are not even throwing his way. packers defense is not very good, when they play a offensive minded team they stink. they look fine and dandy against crap teams but they have no ability to stop big name wide receivers but the Vikings do because of rhides

You're consistently butt hurt about the Packers because in Rodgers' first season:
2008 - they had a losing record and went 6-10 and couldn't win a close game to save their life because #12 didn't have the experience under his belt to pull the wins out of a hat.
2009 - then in his second year as the starter, they turn it around and get a wild card slot, and lose in the first round.
2010 - pull out a wild card spot, and end up winning the super bowl
And for the past 3 years they have crushed the NFC North and won the Division, and lost in the Divisional playoffs 2 of the last 3 years.
