I was looking to bet on Cal and against Tennessee no matter what the lines were. Cal will roll this week, the line is moving quickly against them. It is already @ 8.5.

just at a quick glance:

Cal
Clemson
Georgia
No. Illinois
maybe Air Force

So. Cal
for what its worth on Cal.....

Vegas is not fooled by Cal/Tenn game, they know exactly how good cal is. I watched Minny closely as I had taken the golden flashes for +16, to my horror i watched Minny with 0 recognizable faces from last years offense(and a very subpar d, which i couldnt recognize if they were new or returning) take apart a very much improved Kent State team. Minny pounded the ball down their throat, much like they did last year.

Not saying cal doesnt win by 10, but will definitely see just how bad Kent St is, or how good Tenn is, or just how good Minny/Cal is before i jump with the rest of the board.

VT/UNC line is dangerous because VT can easily cover that, but have had trouble with unc in the past, so much so that I worry more about this game for vatech than i do clemson. The under will probably be a better bet for me, playing vt unders seems to make alot of money since they are always in the top in defense and scoring defense every year. I think they were top 5 last year in both, and Phil Steele projects them to be #1 this year in scoring d.

Like the ASU 14.5, would love to see it at 14, but ASU should easily roll here, might play the over but ASU offense can score on anybody and they definitely wont look past Nevada the way they looked past NAU. I think Nevada is just big enough of a threat to get a seriously ass kicking from ASU

why the love for Indy? BallSt has a very solid and explosive offense and an improving defense and they are at home.

indy beat a mediocrey wmu team by 19 with 14 of those points coming on punt return and pick6 for tds. wmu lost their starting QB mid game and still managed to put up 20 pts.

the over is tempting too but i kinda like the home dog in this one. maybe i'm missing something on this indy team....

That sounds dead on to me. This looks like the Northwestern game last year when ASU rolled...They dont lose much at home, and Nevada has a good offense, but not nearly as good as ASU's...and ASU defense did look good last week, although against NAU.

The ones that peak my interst would be the following:

Rutgers -12.5 105 vs Illinois
Miss State +19 101 vs Auburn
Bama -16.5 105 vs Vandy
BC -1 105 vs Clemson
LSU -14.5 112 vs Zona
Cal -7 108 vs Minny
South C. +2.5 103 vs Georgia
Texas -2.5 109 vs OSU

Those sort of jump out at me as possible plays.
