Week 4 plicks

Here's where I'm at:
Bankaroo made a moderate move up last week but it was the NFL "price boosters" that really helped (2 for 2 and Wash was a M.L. mini-dog winnah). I make 2-team parlays by adding one of the NFLers with a college play for 2 or 3 of my tickets. The rest are single college dudes plays, only.

Sorry about not posted the college play that was my bestest bet last week, Minny. I'm trying to fix that part this week.

Downside: Well, I didn't post my WEEKDAY PLICK for this week, but "I can tellyou" (you like Pres. Trump?) that my long standing record with Mon. -> Fri. plicks is miserable and this week, LIKE LAST WEEK"S PLICK, followed suit - Temple, even though I got it at +20. Little did I know I needed 20 more.

Where I'm going:
I added a calculation that I've been working on to the normal way I pickem for this week and I'm pretty sure it will help. Only done figuring a little more than half of the games so far but, I think I may have found this week's bestest bet. IF that changes I will update it later tonight....

Neb. and it's at -12 1/2 right now ; I'm on it. They're playing Rootgers which is a team on my "fade list" ever since I graduated from there

I gotta do some mo calculating. If it's ok, I'll also post the two NFLers "price boosters" as well.

Still have games to figure out and don't be surprised if I'm back around 3 a.m. to wrap this up. I think better the later it gets

Nebraska will remain this week's best play; played it just like I wrote it up already Obviously, this single play gets bet heavier that any of the others.

Penn St. It was -10.5 (single play) when I got it, it's -11 now (just checked it) and I got it in a parlay and bought it down a little. See below.

Army +3 : I rarely play dogs, but this game between two teams that are all about a rushing offense and figures to be low scoring affair. Army EXCELS (spelled right, I looked it up :0003) asfaras ground battles go.

Duke Pk vs. N.Car. - I watched 1 and 1/2 Duke games this year and this team sho doesn't look like previous Dukies, this team's for real!

Duke/N. Car OVER 59: Be careful, looks too EZ to me, even at 59. Can't resist the bait on this game.

Not finding any better one, YET.

Oh, NFLers (price boosters):
Oakland and Miami. I use one of these in each of two parlays. I know it's pretty UNprofessional to risk a "solid" college play with a M.L. pro play, but I feel confident about NFLers, ESP. M.L. favorites. NOT enough to play one as a single play though. These dumb moves have really worked out for me quite often. So far I got this parlay going with Miami added to it...

Sorry bout the Virginia play which I didn't post; I couldn't decide between Utah or Virginia until less than 10 mins. before Vir/Boise game time. Went with Virginia. I don't know what's going on with Utah right now... they may still be playing. Doesn't matter to me at this point.

Since nobody here was interested or watched that Army/Tulane game, I'll just tellyas how it went -

IT was an [size=+2] ASSBURNER SUPREME [/size]
for anyone on the Black Knights side!

Not adding a thing, but I am doubling up on Fla. Atlantic/Buffalo UNDER 62 AND since it's now 60, I bought the extra cushion. I already got it at the line it was at (62) on an earlier ticket.

Just terrible watching the final drives in that Army game, UGH!

Still, plenty of weekend left to ... . . .. .

This week's record looks like 1 and 4 (or 5). Actually, that IS the record for HERE.Two of the losses were TERRIBLE LUCK IMO. The MJers that know me are in the Hoss Wacin Room and they know that I'm used to those really tough losses; you know, your hoss is leading by open lengths down the stretch, looking like a sure winnah, just to get nipped at the finish line, FLUCK! And there ain't a dang thang you can do about it. Even "worser" that usually happens with LONG shots too. Last season at Philly, I had a $ 90 winnah, who won by BY OPEN LENGTHS and the bastages (judges) took his ass DOWN.

BUT, with footsball there are things you can do about it. At the expense of looking bad to the viewers here, I'm gonna share what I do about it and maybe some of you may find it useful....

Now, with them small (betwise not payoff wise) FOOTSBALL parlays - you can do plenty about it by buying pts. or hooks (not all the time) with the intentions of keeping a good ($) one alive. See the Huskers/Rutgers game? Shaving pts saved that one game by turning a single game loss into a win.

Big problem was the FAU/Buffs UNDER thingy which I doubled up on. I made sure I was at a computer at halftime for that game and had to do something about it and that erased the pain of the multiple blunders on the FAU/Buf OVER bets.

Just sharing ideas with this post -
