CLEEEEAR!!

Defensively the Ravens have a clear advantage over the 2 offensive ends for the Packers. Suggs and Dumerville could combine for 3+ sacks in this game. Rodgers however is maybe the quickest QB to release the ball in the NFL. Any other QB could be suffocated in these conditions. Packers will get their points, but by no means will they just have their way with the Ravens defense.

Offensively, the Ravens won't be setting records on the ground, but with Rice's health improving and the Packers banged up, the Ravens should be able to get in 25-30 productive runs. This sets up the play action, Flacco's meal ticket. Packers were 26th in the league against the pass and that was with Matthews. Ravens could have their best day of the year offensively, dominate the clock and keep Mr Rodgers on the sidelines.

One thing both of these teams have in common is that their play at home is significantly better than their play on the road. Packers have lost 4 in a row on the road and 5 of last 6. Baltimore is one of the toughest venues to play in the NFL, not the best place to turn a road losing streak around.

Play: Ravens +3 -122 (buy to 3) W

Prediction: Ravens 34 Packers 28

Gl Rattler. Liked your team at home even before reading your write up, like them even more after your analysis.

Always enjoy your Ravens Reports.

Boy, ole Flacco sure isn't worth that contract he just got. What a difference in this year's team and last. Wow.

I can't put much blame on Flacco at all. That offensive line is a JOKE.
I put this game on Harbaugh's head. He cost us 6 points being "cute".First going for it on 4th down when it was 3-0 Pack(all 4 run plays )
Then with 17 seconds left in the half, he has Flacco trying to go deep, which of course leads to a fumble and a Packer FG. I mean after all, the offense was so successful up to that point, why not, right?

I never understand coaches that don't go for the points, even at home, 3 is better than nothing. Just remembering what a season they had last year. You know this team better than anybody I've ever seen know a team. Thanks for another winnah! :toast: :0008

No doubt, I can be pist about the 4th and long but he gave up 6 points easy.

:toast: Been difficult early figuring out who these guys really are. Almost a completely different Ravens team with completely different leadership. I'm starting to learn them. 4-2 ATS on the sides, 1 loss on a total. BTW, I'm already leaning Steelers next week.

Harbaugh actually has to stand up and lead this team now without Ray and Ed and so far, he has not been up to the challenge.

ANYONE that challenged his decisions or authority last year IS GONE!!! Harbaugh doesn't have the kahunas to lead the stronger personalities. However, that's the personality you want from your football players. He has a team full of players that "go with the flow", not ravenous animals that eat guts for dinner and ask for 2nds (like Bolden, Pollard and Reed) That's what this team is missing. Not just leadership, but HUNGRY leadership
