Sorry, Readers..... what a difference it is here in sunny Fla. between the time I got down here and now. If you saw more than 20 cars between here and 20 miles away - it was a LOT. Now, you see three figures worth. Today there was an accident on I95, backed up for well over an hour.

Anyway, I didn't get to play the 2nd or 4th and right now I don't even know how I woulda done cause I had those two playable all figured out EARLY this morning. Did get to put in the 5th race zacktas about 2 mins. before they started loading.

Well, I DID, I DID, I DID do good. 1,5 top/bot 2,7. resulted into a PHilly mini-bomber zackta. Come to think about it - maybe NOT so mini.

LUCK has been following me this WEEK as well with TWO winning tickets for the 2nd half of the Dallas/Wash game, couldn't believe the low score line for Dallas tt second half, Also took the Cowboys to win the second half outright at "+" M.L. odds, and the Stanford +4 covered by ONE stinkin point. Horses were skill, Stanford was LUCK. :mj07.

ON to the playable 6th. Let's see if any readers signed up or maybe DZ or Hammy stop in to git on this LUCKY gravy train I've been riding for the past 3 days, which includes, SO FAR, today.

The hosses for the 6th were just entering the PADDOCK when I started the "blah, blah, blah" in my initial post above. Got carried away as usual and I was really surprised to see the DANG homestretch run for the 6th.... WITHOUT ME ONBOARD .

My 4,5 <-> 1,2 zack that I missed getting in was a WIENER! SHEEEET! :facepalm: and should be a decent price too; not nearly as much as 5th though.

Gotta go... 7th up next too and I THINK I know what prob. will happen with that one AFTER I put the bets down this time.

Well, it paid $54.20 and I don't know if I woulda had 1 or 2 stinkin dollars on it. Prob. 2 after the 5th race bigger bag of GREENbacks I got.

NOT even a Reader here, still plenty of time to jump in here for the 7th, 13 mins to post right now. Careful though, I rarely hit 3 in a row. Thinking about tries for the 7th. You know, the 50 cents variety :s2:

That is why I can't bet like a real bettor at this twack, happens like that almost all the time. I think I WILL bet like that ONLY when I see a very potential BOMBER like I did last week. I'll try that, that has a shot at making me RICH.

Hammy, I will get to see how you did after the races are done. I haven't touched the 8th race yet and may not be able to get back here to you and the one reader awaiting whatever stuff we got to write.

edit1: boy, how do I look now, Ugh?. Added that zacta with AT LEAST 1 1/2 mins. before the gate opened. I gotta share something to make up for it.. . situations like this happen quite a bit at this wace twack. ODDS ON completes exacta (top or bottom) with a hoss that's at least has 2 figure oddsl. I can't see what you had for this race from here... I'm gonna go and check now.

Prices just came up for the 8th.. zacks were $1 each - Result --> something like peanut crumbs. who cares

edit2: just checked what ya got there, Hamster... looks like we needed to combine the plicks for a 1/4 bag of peanuts. I also checked the 2nd and 4th for me while I was on the road.... woulda caught the 2nd zack, not a bad payout, woulda lost the 4th with about $16 worth of tickets . oh, well... posting and being late costed me some winnings today. You only need one Philly style payout and I'm sure glad I just got the 5th race in. I've changed the way I BET those exactas for MOST of my plays. That is, $2 on the bigger paying exactas and $1 on the other combo. For Instance, a 1,2 t/b 3,4 when 3,4 are the higher odds - the $2 zack would be 3,4/1,2. IMO, this racetrack is the place to do this.

There's 2 guests (readers?) and me everytime I check to see if posting is a waste of time. I can only blame myself for posting while a decent exacta for me was running without me a few days ago. Maybe one of the "guests" should sign up?

Well, I got started REAL early today with the grueling handicapping business cause rushing after the races start for the day is NOT a good thing. Might as well post something anyways and the 2nd race; luckily it just happens to be the FIRST playable race too, is the most interesting race so far.

BTW, I use the word "playable" without defining what that means to me. There's a few things that may be useful to somebody about PLAYABLE:

- Min. of 6 starters AND, if it is 6, No horse can be 1/1 or less.
- At least 2 of the starters must be horses that me/you are familiar with.
- Race has to have a likelihood of resulting in a Philly style exotic payoff ($$$), actually, this one should have been on the top of the list.

There are a few more, but they apply to my style of capping and the above 3 things should be good for any Philly hoss player methinks. One that might be is - not too many horses that have too many races, lately, on tracks other than Philly. Ok, if it's LAST race was at Philly but that could depend on other things as well.

Ok, back to the 2nd race,
I think, at least, one of the two plicks will hit the zackta and it's their odds that make this play worthwhile. Thems are no. 3 w. 15/1 M.L. and the no. 5 w. 8/1 M.L. Con. - one or both will prob. get bet down a bit.

If anybody's interested in Philly today, chime in. Still got a little more to do - I'll check back at some time today to see yas or ya.

I had something VERY similar to your picks and hit the exacta. I'm betting heavier today, bet 3 horses ($5) to win on each as well, one was the 8 too. Came out of the race in pretty good shape. You too, I think. Good thing Bowman didn't win it; he is absolutely terrible even on an odds on fav.

Edit: next is a tough, tough race. These type of races, 12 dirt bombs entrees, are potential BOMBS AWAY at this twack, but finding the right ones ain't EZ. Sometimes they do finish with the logical ones on top/bot too for pocket change.

edited: my figures had the no. 10 on top but I didn't care for that one at all. NO play for me. Good thing, dual favorite exacta, Phoooey. Now for the 6th, the nos. say no. 8. Another fav. UGH! I'm gonna look for a couple of long shots.

Dang - didn't bother with the appropriate BOMBER for this wace. I was on 3 BOMBERS in this race too, side action, threw out the 6 hoss and that one was on the dang L@@KER list. Sheeet.).
