Actually this is a week one play but....
Miami +6 over Florida State - I love this annual battle of past, present and future criminals. It reminds me of Burt Reynolds and The Longest Yard every time they step on the field. Six points is a lot to lay in this one, and I think that Miami is the more talented team in this game even though they are still quite young. I look for a defensive battle as always that will come down to the bitter end.
Syracuse +28 over Penn State - Syracuse showed a little life against a disinterested Minnesota team on Saturday. I expect the Nittany Lions to be equally disinterested this weekend. A couple of scores by Syracuse and that will be plenty to cover against a team that is going to struggle at times until they find out who exactly will replace all of the playmakers they lost last year.
Western Michigan +1.5 over Indiana - I agree with Spang and Falcon here. WMU is not nearly as bad as they looked at the Big House. They just happened to run into a team that had a lot to prove to themselves and their staff. Indiana looks destined to finish in the basement of the Big Eleven.
