what sponsor can I fund an account At without having to send funds via WU to some dude with 5 names?

In an IRS audit wouldn't they pick up on cashing of checks from offshores?

It's not as simple as supporting your site or not supporting it.

It's very simple and obvious that you haven't even taken a look.

Why cash the checks, just deposit them.

If you're worried about the IRS, just have a separate account for your gambling BR only and all the records are right there. The IRS doesn't give one shit about you gambling. Matter of fact, I know of several that list their occupation as bookmaker on their tax returns. Every cent, in and out, goes through their account and all the records are right there.

If you really have the need to hide from the IRS, there are common sense ways to do that too and I'm sure you could figure that out.

Bookmaker I used years ago would lost pro gambler in returns and paid taxes on his earnings. Seemed odd to me then, but he is out of it now and never caught heat

Jack the IRS audits small business owners in my range at a pretty significant clip. The chance of an audit in my career is almost a given. When they do audit, if I have deposits of several grand into my personal account they are going to ask me where that money originated from. Their assumption is going to be its business profit that I am not reporting. What's the lesser of 2 evils...I guess I can just tell them the truth. But this is a legitimate concern.

I wish more people understood this. The IRS really doesn't care HOW you got the money, they care THAT you got the money. Even more-so they care that THEY get the taxes off that money.

I have claimed gambling wins with and without a w-2G. For the ones that came from an offshore book I simply put "Gambling Winnings" in the box. Never even been questioned about it.

Your Western Union withdrawal can be cashed without depositing into an account.

Also, I agree that you will be audited. The agent that's assigned will stay until he finds something. You might want to give him something easy to find so its a win/win/win.

PF I do understand. That's the downside...paying taxes on winnings when I can't offset offshore losses like I could casino losses. So if I were to have a 10k profit season I have a third chopped out for Uncle Sam. I'm just trying to explain that there's more to it than "not supporting the site".

Saint, I write checks to myself out of my brokerage account, cash them and western union cash to fund my gambling each year, then if the Feds ask just say it was for gambling in tunica or Vegas money, etc...it's none of their business

Yes, I've been blacklisted. Then after I tried a few years later I could receive and send. Now I know they put limits on how much you could send now during the month.
