Heaven, oh!!, this isn't it?!
I want to know who/how/what to get around these damn 2yr contracts:SIB .
Phone is reduced usually anywhere between $100-200 when you buy a new one. But my stinking battery on my Nokia 6585 has gone out 3 times in last 18 mos. One guy said they are all bad! WTF:scared
Who has time to monkey with this shit?

Have US Cellular right now, want phone with no antenna, and no flip phones. This one fits in pockets nicely, but might go to the blackberry/Treo type?

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance............
Franky

Nokia, which is about 3 years old....don't know model number but it is fantastic. I'm only interested in being able to hear and be heard, nothing else. Not that I make a habit of speaking on the phone when on a elevator but had to do so yesterday and it was clear as if the person was standing next to me. Never a problem with static, even when right downtown....great phone for me.

Verizon is known to dick with the firmware on most phones so you can't do a lot of things you should be able to.

For instance a buddy of mine has an LG phone with bluetooth yet he can't get it to connect through bluetooth, same model different carrier no issue at all pulling it up on our bluetooth laptops

They did the same with the Razr. I know lots of people who like the Treo. I would probably end up getting a 7130C blackberry in a couple months from work, I love my BB

That's odd since I or none of my friends have had issues with their RAZRs, but most of us are on Cingular.

EBAY.

I will be switching to Cingular & unfortunately these are Verizon.

Thanks Senor,
Kind of thought thats where, but how the heck do they change the codes?:SIB Thought they would be rendered useless, at least thats what the last salesman:142smilie told me:shrug: . He said you cant sell them, because they cant differentiate between stolen phones and a hand me down/sold phone:com:
Yea right?:mj07:
Give me the real scoop now................

Mine.

Anthony. I am surprised.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. If I may be so bold. As a future attorney, you must learn to frame your questions with a little more thought. A properly prepared deponent will slip through. Just some helpful thoughts grasshopper.

Motorola V557.......the razors looked like they were gonna fall apart, so got Motorola V557. We don't need a lotta bells & whistles, like the phone, but it is a piece of CHIT. Had to replace the first two, one wouldn't hold a charge and the other one sounded like the calls were under water.
