Kurt Warner Is the most Overated Qb in the History of the game.
I have said it since day one it was always the system and talent behind him.. Not his skill.

That was always Vermeils offense, wasn't Martz at all, that any talented running back will thrive in that offense, and that if the Chiefs and Vonnie Holliday (3 sks) are the real deal this year, we'll see KC n Houston in Feb.

Games that are usually tough to call usually end up exactly that. Games that look obvious usually aren't. And betting the Dolphins as large favorites and the Bengals, Cardinals, Cowboys, Rams or Bears at all this year is not advised.

I learned

Fade St. Louis and Curt Warner till Bulger comes in.
Fade Da Bears all season cause besides Kordell, who do they have?

Dont beat with the favourite if its the highest on the board and/or over 10 points. Either lay off and take the Dog.

Also don't see GB doing much, I watched the game, they lost 3 WRs and some other players to injuring in game one. Poor souls are going to be in the basement with Da Bears

When it comes to the raiders, any prop involving number of penalties....Count me in.

Raiders - First penalty(team) -150
Raiders - Most penalties(team) -250
Over - Raiders 12 penalties (O/U) -150

Also, when game lines let you down gotta love props

5 team prop/parlay
Raiders-Titans 20 for 250

Gannon first pass completion - Win
T. Brown first reception >9.5 yds - Win
Total sacks >4.5 - Win
Both teams FG longer than 36 yds - Win
E. George first run > 3yds - Win

Milloy, best defensive player on NE. Off season moves are a must (Bills, Car, Den) vs. (ARZ, DAL, CIN)

I learned:

*Buffalo's defence has improved. They will be a force this year and I think there's a good chance they will make the playoffs.
*Seattle is also improved. 2nd place in the West (ahead of St Louis) and in the playoffs maybe? There's not a lot in this conference to stop them. (Taking out the 4 division winners...who else is really CLEARLY better than Seattle right now in the NFC? Atlanta? Who else??) These guys may be good bets, esp at home.
*Indianapolis' D just keeps on getting better
*Oakland's troubles are for real. They're not focused right now. I expect they'll get it right down the road, but for now they are not all there.
*Atlanta is not just Michael Vick.
*San Diego has probably taken a step backwards.
*KC is going to be a force this year. It's not inconceivable that they could win their division given A) Oakland being out of sync/going through a letdown, and B) Jake Plummer.

Week 8: Buffalo at Kansas City. Could be one of the most entertaining games of the year. Can't wait.

1) Tampa Bay is still the team to beat.
2) The Bengals are still the Bungals.
3) The Bears and Kordell Stewart really suck arse.
4) Dallas still stinks with or without Parcells.
5) Giants, Titans, Chiefs and Bills are all teams to be wreckoned with.

... and so does Andy Reid and his predictable dink and dunk offense. As an Eagles fan, I know we will do better than in week one but Reid will never outcoached Gruden and so we will be losers again like every other year.

The Dolphins played the worst game in franchise history.

I feel VERY sorry for the Jets. Vinny is going to get eaten alive by a very pissed off D next weekend.

Also, the Lions looked good on both sides of the ball exclusing Boldin's big day. I know it was the Cardinals. They are not a playoff team yet, but are getting much closer. Great start for Mariucci.

The Eagles have an overated defense. With the loss of Burgess, Hugh douglas, and Shawn Barber this team will struggle against well balanced and solid running teams. They still have one of the best defensive backfields(provided Taylor isn't hurt too bad) but that's not enough to win the division.
Tampa's dee looked better than last year.
Warner: 6 sacks 6 fumbles- Even dave Krieg couldn't do that.
Cincy: I already feel bad for Marvin Lewis
SD: Their dee is as bad as advertised.
AZ: I finally know who one of their WR are.

I learned , not by just this years week 1----but by allpast previous week 1's also, that some teams that looked terrible will actually turn out fine & strong & that some who looked great, well, this may have been their strongest game of the year. IT IS ONLY ONE GAME, BE IT THE 1ST, 8TH OR LAST GAME..........AND ONE CANT JUDGE ANY TEAM BY IT. THE HITMAN
