I've played Park Place/Diamond Caverns several times myself. It's very short, however, it is not perfectly manicured like you see on tv. You might be in a patch of clover in the middle of the fairway. Joe Blow in front of you probably didn't rake the sand. There's nobody skirting each fairway to help find your ball. The greens are postage stamps, and they are not the same speed, and most of them are elevated. There is OB on nearly every hole. Looks like it should be ravaged, but it's a very tough little course.

Wayne, Jack, dawgball, et al, I'm playing again after a > 3 year hiatus, so count me in if you're going to play again.

lol who did you know that was in that tourney bjf? were you in it? btw Oahe Trails is NOT my home course as i have never lived anywhere near there since it has been opened. Played probably 5-6 rounds on it at most.

a "used to be plus" implies that i was there several times in a period of late HS and college years but now dont play much but could easily get back time permitting, but no motivation is there because i dont enjoy golf much for love of the game, but instead enjoy it for the action

DTB I have played on average 5-7 times/year the last 3 years so i dont think i can just fly there and shoot 72, but if i had a week off which i dont it would be a walk in the park at 5400 yds....that said 63 is not in the least nor

just dont get panties in a wad if someone says 5400 yds. is not LPGA length.....most LPGA courses are at least 6200 yds and some get as long as 65-6600.

no time man, am really busy

priorities do not reside in these types of challenges anymore, although they are once what i lived for....as i am sure some people who seem to be able to research well could attest if they could tell you that i won a tourney in 03 at a particular course

maybe someday, but not now

thanks though and i would not ever take anything better than even odds on breaking par anywhere if my game was in shape...ive played plenty of those shorter courses and if the greens roll well, and the pins are tucked, they are the funnest to play IMO competitively

No, but I was working in Mitchell that summer. You'd mentioned in a thread on here (I think the really long one about Annika playing in that men's event) that you were playing in that Lewis and Clark tourney.

I think there was someone in the tournament from our newspaper's coverage area or some sort of connection from our coverage area, so we had them fax us the results when it was over. When I saw the name, I assumed that to be you.
