I have gone to my best friend's house for the last few years. Unfortunately, he took his own life a few years ago just before Easter and I have spent it with his two daughters and widow since. I met both of them 23 years ago so we have been friends for a long time. Quite a few other friends and their families usually attend or come by. I eat until I am sick. :0008

Hate to hear that, but very cool that you still see them. Best friend took his life and think about him all the time. Have a good Easter everyone.

Hudson Valley area.....NY
Getting up early in the morning and hiding Easter eggs in my grand daughters back yard...she gets up at 7.00 a.m. so its a family ritual we all get up and help her...then grandpa will make french toast and bacon for everyone...my wife and I will go to the 9.00 am mass...relax awhile..and over to my daughters for an Easter lunch-dinner....Ham,Turkey,etc..
Am heading north in 10 days..will miss Austin big time...the snow bird is flying back to NY...been here since Nov and never thought I would like it down here...glad NY is not one of the targeted places on Kim-Jong Un's list..but Austin is...:mj07: Why pick Austin, Kim...maybe later tomr nite will work on a "bunker" in my daughter's back yard...Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Easter...

Some weird traditions also happen on Easter, for example people in some districts in France believe that eating eggs on Easter is bad luck. Also on Slovakia and the Czech Republic, men spank women using a special whip and throw water at them.

time to move to slovokia boys

Don't know about spanking but we throw water on each other on Monday after Easter. It's a tradition.

Also paint eggs. Then we put them to basket with other food and go to church with it. On Sunday morning we eat it for breakfast.

I will just eat breakfast. Stopped doing other things since I found of the wall at madjacks LOL.

So I will be betting Murray om Easter and giving kickserv hard tiem about GPS!!! :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

Happy Easter to Everybody!!!
