...36 years ago on Aug 16th Elvis died...one of those times you will always remember where you were when you heard the news...driving on the Texas coast just outside of Padre Island with my new wife and best friends...they were all sleeping in the car... I heard it on the radio and pulled over.....woke them up and told them them the news...hard to believe it was 36 years ago...
On another note Elvis was born in 1935....I have been playing NY lotto...3 number combo...139{ my house number} for over 30-35 years....years ago I tried playing 139 with another number...4 number combos....did a few combo's 1390,1395,1935,1937,etc...was told that I cannot have 1935..its sold out. In NY some numbers get sold out and you can't have it. I asked the person behind the counter why I can't have 1935...he told me it gets sold out everyday by 11.00 am ...I couldn't believe it..and asked why..."its the year Elvis was born"....one of the most popular numbers ...."...that really amazed me....
Anyway I played 1935 yesterday early in the morning...it didn't win....but guess what number hit yesterday...139...
I hit a horse at Saratoga last thurs because the horse Meldoy Lin placed 1st,2nd and 3rd{ 1-3-9 in its last 3 outings}
Damn..lucky 2 weeks....:00hour :00hour
