WOW Blazer Freak me out. Your entire list would be in my top 20.

Might add Sounds of Silence S & G

and We got a get out of this place and House of rising sun>Animals

Jack Remember long version of When the musics over and the ole 8 tracks:lol:

If you had sound to your sight I would vote for ,"Let It Ride" as Madjacks theme.;)

As much as I hate country music, I would have to list Travis Tritt's ANYMORE as one of my favorite songs.

As well as:

Centerfield -John Fogherty

Faithfully -Journey

Some good stuff listed so far. Of all that's been called, I like Jacks # with the Doors call. When the Music's Over is definitely a killer tune (cancel MY subscription to the resurrection).

Some of my faves:
Aerosmith-Seasons of Wither
Badlands-Rumblin' Train
CCR-Ramble Tamble
Deep Purple-The Mule
Eagles-Hotel California
Free-I'm a Mover
Gov't Mule-Mother Earth
Hendrix-Machine Gun (pref. orig. Band of Gypsies version)
(iron maiden-run to the hills-needed something)
James Gang-The Bomber
Kyuss-Whitewater
Led Zeppelin-How Many More Times/Whole Lotta Love/Since I've Been Loving You/Battle of Evermore/The Ocean/Kashmir/Achilles Last Stand/ad absurdium
Montrose-Make it Last
Nazareth-Sold My Soul
Ozzy-Crazy Train
Pink Floyd-Time/Dogs/Comfortably Numb/don't get me started
Queen-Tenement Funster-Flick of the Wrist-Lily of the Valley
Rush-2112
Steppenwolf-Monster-Suicide-America
Tool-Eulogy
-also Disposition-Reflection-Triad
UFO-Rock Bottom
Van Halen-Eruption
The Who-Baba O'Riley
(xtc-senses working overtime?)
--more of a stretch than the Maiden
Yes-Roundabout
ZZTop-Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers

If a gun was held to my head, and I had to pick JUST ONE piece of music to list, it would probably be the medley from side B (track 9-16) of The Beatles Abbey Road (You Never Give Me Your Money - The End). Just one of my many (make that Many) personal faves.

Enjoy the tunes whilst you still have ears.

I personally like "Sweet Melissa" ...

But my all time favorite might have to be ... Janis Joplin, Me and Bobby McGee. Love that song now it is going to be stuck in my head all day.

they are all great songs guys... except "the way were were" ;) its so hard to pick just one since our moods change so often. Music is definitely ART and appeals differently to each of us at different times..

Ferdville reminded me of Dylans song "Like a ROlling Stone" I can hear the hammond organ intro in my mind as i type this.

Damn I must be getting old. Never seen one post with The Temptations, Spiners or Ohio Players. I either listen to old motown or country. How bout a little George Jones.:D

great idea boilerbaker

George Jones = "He stopped loving her today"

doesn't get any better than that........but there are a few others

"At the gas station of LOVE, I got the self-service pump"

"Hand me a pool cue and call yourself an ambulance"

"I gave her the ring and she gave me the finger"

and of course my favorite "How did you get so ugly overnight?"
