Tell me what Bush has done that has been so bad? I think he has been a good President. Imagine if Gore or Kerry won, ugh...

I dunno, maybe Gore would have secured the borders and went after the right guys. Maybe Gore would not have invaded the wrong country and plunge the country into a debt that is choking it to death. Just for starters.

Hedgehog, to answer your question specifically, none of the three scenarios would scare me at all. I don't think Hillary would be qualified to be a Supreme Court judge, so I think that is the most far off base of the three. She seems like a very objective thinker, from her positions and explanations of topics, IMO, and probably would make a good judge of issues.

I think Obama as President is an important historical scenario, and I think the man himself is someone who would bring a standout demeanor, communication skills and intelligence/balance to the office - which to me is important and has been sadly lacking for the past few years.

And honestly, a McCain/Lieberman administration would not be something I would have a big problem with. I think Lieberman made a bad choice when deserting his party after losing his election, and think his policies to be pretty self-serving (Israel, etc.), but I consider both men to be adequate candidates for high office.

I know real objective thinking and posting is off base around here of late, so I apologize in advance for a non-bashing, non-threatening commentary.

And well said...bout the longest rein of terror this Nation has lived thru !!

I would love to see you in a real reign of terror for a few weeks only. Wuss couldn't take it.
What chit talking morons. Man, criticize W all you want, but don't say the US live a reign of terror. Not yet, with Barry, and to a great extent McAmnesty we might get closer to it, but quit minimizing the suffering of people in real government totalitarian terror situations.

I swear, no liberal has a maturity above a 14 year old.

Anf then there's that Agent guy :mj07:

the supreme court is a smoke screen issue... 8yrs of clinton didn't change the court. 20 yrs of reagan & bush didn't change the court. If you look at the appointees to the cort since 1980. they didn't turn out the way the left or the right hoped. The judges are not as partisan as most americans & the administrations that put them there whished they would be. hillary could never be aproved, to partisan & political. Has there ever been a senator on the court in recent history ? I would think not. McCain & liberman will never happen... well, you have two things you don't have to worry about. sweet dreems !

You are right on about the supreme court.
Who appointed Earl Warren... because he thought he would be a "conservative" justice

And it was the most liberal court ever.
