McGuire sisters were lookers!

their mother was a preacher in Indiana....Imagine hitting the road with Woody Herman right out of church and high school, directly to NYC and fame.

I remember articles, and interviews in the Las Vegas papers, about Phyllis, She had hung around mobster Sam Giancana a lot and Sam said she knew all the secrets.

She lived in a very fine palatial mansion in Rancho Circle, Las Vegas, claimed the money for it came from sharp investments she made in oil.

but don't look at her drunken mug shot, taken when she was 68 and very uncooperative with Las Vegas Metro Police, who were on "an undercover operation" in front of her house...Not her best picture...
