Yea the donuts are a bit too much for me. I don't really have a sweet tooth, especially not for breakfast, but they are great there about letting you sample them and I got to try the cookies and cream one you posted as well as another one with pistachio, which was also delicious.

Have you had their fried chicken sandwich? I hear the spicy chicken sandwich is the one to get there (best in town by many accounts), but I've only had the breakfast one topped with an egg over easy, which we just unreal. I highly recommend getting one of those chicken sandwiches next time you are looking for one.

Yes I have tried both the original and spicy.... the spicy one definitely has a lot more flavor imo... I have never tried the breakfast one but that does sound good...

Have you ever been to howlin rays? If not I would go there before you go back to birdies.. howlin rays is unbelievable

Ta eem grill. Tasty. Some of the best chicken shawarma I've had. Tender juicy. Salads are flavorful

Dz if you like shawarma I highly recommend this place. It's on melrose a few blocks east of fairfax.


This place is owned by a Jewish guy who works in the kitchen himself....

Jack, I've tried everything and what is working best for me the last several months is the Keto diet. I'm never hungry, I have more energy and the weight is falling off. I love it. It's worth a look.
