Plus the fact I have not played golf in over two weeks. Big Calcutta tournament is this weekend. I really had the swing grooved and the handicap was built up to an 11.

Oh and making a big wager on underdog Stepanek. Watch 4 hour match and he loses 9-7 in the 5th, after leading 2 sets to love and having a match point:facepalm:

Oh and bible thumpers always piss me off.
Some whiskey-fueled motorist hit my mailbox out on the road the other night about 2:00 AM. It was fully enclosed with bricks. They must have been hauling ass because I found chunks 50 feet away. All that was left was a straggle of rebar.
I call the cops and the dispatcher asks, "Is the vehicle's license plate in the rubble?" I about started laughing. I think I would have led off with this info if I had their license plate nancy drew. She says it is not worth sending an officer out to even fill out a report, but if I see any smashed up cars in my neighborhood I should let them know. Tax dollars at work.
So I hire this good ol? boy handyman to repair the mailbox and he says that he will build the base back up with brick, but to dome it in again would cost a lot since there is cutting and measuring involved. I agree to just mounting the mailbox on top of the pedestal and call it good.
I pay him $250 and a few nights later some punk attacks my vulnerable metal mailbox with ? I assume ? a baseball bat. One side is smashed in pretty good and the back of the unit was blown out. (Do you think a firecracker would reform it and knock the dents out? Or just make my mail smell like gunpowder.)
Who needs a mailbox anymore? No good things ever come in the mail. When you were a kid the mail retrieval was a special event: There could be $5 cash and a card from Aunt Lyd or a new issue of G.R.I.T. or even sea monkeys. Now it?s all charities, junk and bills. This is what pisses me off today.

My gripe today is still having pain in my neck, shoulders and arms, 4 weeks after surgery to fix it. Maybe my neurosurgeon cheated on a written exam. :sadwave:
