Kids Friday Mantinee of Flipper... first real memory that comes back is Nightmare on Elm Street... After complaining end lessly my parents ACTUALLY took me to see it... We left almost 30 minutes later and I remember it was .99 cents...

I slept in a sleeping bag for 6 months below their footboard from that night on...

I think I was 7-8...

We were even given 3-d glasses so the creature would look more real.

Also, my mother gave me a handkerchief to put on the top of the upright part of the chair so if my head touched the fabric I wouldn't catch ringworm.

Boys; Got all you young "Buckeroos" beat age wise. It was some Roy Rogers movie with Gabby Hayes & Trigger @ The Ranger Movie theater in
Lima, Oh. Cost 9 cents to get in on Saturdays!

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
Mom took me to re-release of "The Sound Of Music" and that turned me off going to movies for quite some time....I liked watching Groucho on TV

i think it was either around the world in 8o days or how the west was won...whichever came out first....

loved going to the movies with my parents....

as i was switching the channels this morning i came upon "the man who knew too much" & realized that was the first movie that i saw with the folks....great movie..
