Iowa city, Iowa to San Francisco, California. 1900 miles and 4 of us did it non stop. Took us 33 hours. Longest we weren’t moving was about an hour and a half in winnemucca, Nevada, so we could gas up, eat and play a few hands of blackjack.
Drove from Iowa city to Los Angeles for the ‘86 rose bowl, but we took a few days each way to see the sights and have some time in Vegas.

Left here at 3am for Holmdel, NJ. Went straight there and back. Got home at 4am, so 25 straight hours on the road. It was about 1500 miles.

I couldn't drive 2 hours now without stopping to pee and put arthritis balm on both knees

Wife and I drove to the Rio in Las Vegas from BG, Ky. 1900 miles maybe? We did it in less than 30 hours. 29.75 hours I think. We arrived a whole day ahead of schedule. We were just in the mood to get it done. That’s when I could actually get a comp room.

Edit. My wife tells me it was 31 hours, so a bit longer than I thought.
