San Diego and Palm Springs till wen off in the am a present from Jeri had no-clue and i need to get out of this hell hole for a week.
canadian friends(toronto) just became american citizens so they thought it would be a good time to throw a party to celebrate.
I'm stuck in SD as I couldn't get Friday off to head home. Very pissed. Hope you all have a better holiday than I do...

recovering from whitewater rafting in Cascades had way too much fun.. and way too much sunburn..
had way too much fun.. and way too much sunburn..Unless I get invited to Helen's party in Bensalem, I'll be at the Reds v. Alomar-less Mets game at 1:15. Forecast 93 degrees, sunny and humid. Sounds like a beer an inning challlenge to me.

This is the weekend of the Smithville Fiddler's Jamboree.... The home of the National Fiddler's Championship.
...a weekend of bluegrass music and crafts festival.

Heading to lake Fork in about an hour. Friend has a lakehouse there. Start on the beer in about......an hour.....figure someone will carry me to bed tonight shower tomorrow, start drinking again to take the edge off, watch fireworks, throw up, eat, drink sleep, shower, eat, drink, fall down....where are we at Saturday so far? Ok, go to karaoke at East Fork Bar, the only bar in the middle of the one horse town, try to count Thirty six teeth before I get too drunk to keep track, drink more, go back to trailer, fall, scrape knee, try to be quiet fall asleep in hammock with a full beer opened, wake up, shower, eat, load up boat, go home, check in to re-hab.

...thought that I'd provide a link for anyone that might be interested. Blazer, or anyone else in the Middle Tennessee area, if you like old bluegrass music, make the short drive this weekend to the square in Smithville. (...the little ladies will love the crafts.)
...and if you get bored with the Jamboree (or the heat is too much), Center Hill Lake is not far away.
