An extremely hot & humid summer -- I am talking soup type humidity that last from April to October
Something like the Everglades.

or

A long cold & wet winter -- think inland nothern Maine or Buffalo.

Not sure which I would hate more. I have had the hot & humid summers while living in Charleston SC, but never lived in a really cold snowy area for winter.

So I guess I would take the hot/humid summer.

For me, nothing worse than the hot/humid summer, but I live in the Northeast and look forward to fall/winter....much easier to warm up than cool down...you get to a point where you can't take anymore clothes off, but in winter you can keep piling it on.......

Nothing is worse than intense long snow ice winter. I have lived in Miami may-October, its hot, but tolerable. Always you can get in air conditioning. 20 degrees & snow, you can't do anything outside.

Above the Clouds....
I can tolerate the hot and humid but the bitter winters I can do without.

When the snow crunches under your feet when you go get the paper in the morning just chills the whole body. :com:

I would have to say a long cold and wet winter would be miserable.

That being said, I am used to hot and humid here in Texas/Houston

Tampa is third in humidity behind New Orleans and West Palm... but I'll take a day on the beach any day over a bitter snow day... Haven't seen real snow in the South since the Winter Storm in 93. You would have thought the world was at an end the way everything closed down... couldn't have been more than a foot in some places... Nothing to you Northeners... Now, skiing is a comepletely different kind of cold and enjoy it when I get a chance.

Nobody has AC. Heater comes on a couple days a year. ...It's not a bad racket.

Give me the summer anyday

When it gets to 50 down here people go into hibernation, they think its going to snow when it hits 50.

If I were to live in a northern environment, it would have to be the pacific northwest.

Other than that, I'll take the heat.

I hates the winter. Heat is so expensive. It's so cold you can't go out. Dangerous to drive. I hates the winter.

I can always put closthes on, but you can only take so much off.

I hate hot and humid, It kills my asthma ad give Atlanta sh!tty air quality. I like fall winter and spring in Atlanta. Can live with out summer.
