I use MLB.com because they seem to be closer to real time than the other sites, but maybe others have better suggestions... I'd be curious to know.

Using that too and comparing it to the mix and its not that close. I usually use sportsnetwork for foots but it defaults to mlb for bases..

I still use CBS SportsLine.com. Only because I have for 10 or 15 years

Me too and it's dead on. When people say it's slow they must be getting a slower feed than I do because most of the time it's right on.

The Score is my favorite for my phone.

The Score is great as a primary app for Iphone and Flashscore is a great secondary app to easily customize which games you want to track, all sports combined in one look... Great for scoreboard watching if you play on more than one sport.

Surprisingly, Yahoo! has a great iOS app (and alerts, which are lightening fast -- pretty much real-time).. I love run/game end alerts because now I find myself not "refreshing, refreshing, refreshing"-- if there is no alert, the score is still the same - no need to keep checking the scoreboard. I also have started to like their website version, as well. VERY VERY fast updates.. I've been watching the game live and updates nearly instant. Definitely try the iOS app "Yahoo! Sports" -- alerts have given me much more peace of mind when I don't want to actually watch the game.
