I've never been able to and I was 6'4" back in the day. I assume I have shrunk some and certainly can't jump as high I used to be able to. And that ain't high.

No way I can dunk a basketball now, but the last time I checked, I could still grab the rim. No big deal, really as I'm taller than average, but up to my late 20s, I could still dunk 2 handed with one step. I can think back though even at my peak ability, I had guys jumping 6-12 inches over me easily. I never was that kind of athlete.

I'm 25 years old and 6'4" ..on the right day I still can stuff it, but it's not as easy at it use to be. In high school it was pretty easy, but I've put on probably 25-35 pounds since then...:popcorn2

In b4 arrow posts a vid of himself winning a slam dunk contest where the rim suspiciously looks only 8 feet high.

I almst posterized Blake Griffin the other day. Came up just short. I havent tried in a while but I used to do it regularly, I haven't really tried since I took the hoop down off the bedroom door.

There's a colored, African-American kid down the street that probably can. I don't want to ask him though, in case he tries to rob me, but he always has some new pair of sneakers on from who knows where so I figure hes a cager.

past, prior to 2 acl surgeries (and numerous pounds lighter) I could dunk.

currently, I am a master at throwing it down on my daughter's little tikes hoop.

I'm 5 foot 9 and couldn't jump over a phone book when I had hops; so, no, I have never dunked a basketball on a 10 foot basket.
The 7 year old that lives down the alley has a rim that can't be more than 7 foot high because I only have to jump about 5 inches off the ground to slam it down.
Did it for him once and now every time me and the kids are down there he has to see me slam it...:142smilie
His Dad is shorter than me and can't dunk on it so Donovan thinks its cool that I can...:0074

I could dunk a volleyball almost every time up until I was 25. Dunked a girls ball several times but had to take a lot of steps without dribbling to do it. I claim I dunked in a game once, but my teammates won't count it. I went over a guys back on a rebound and pushed off his shoulders and "kinda" tip dunked it.

Still play full court with my varsity team twice a week and do fine against them, but I can't even get rim anymore.

I'm mm's shy of 6 foot but could grab rim back in college.

I did have two dunk attempts in our college intramural games.

I had two "snow bird" (I didn't play a lot of defense) breakaways in intramurals.

The first time, I go up and throw the ball off the front of the rim, boing, hold on to it and come back jogging down the court saying, "Damn, lost it on the way up" - http://madjacksports.com/forum/showpost.php?p=3169054&postcount=14

I had another chance on a break away but this time I as I went to take off, I rolled my ankle, fell to the ground and turned the ball over.

I think that was the last game I ever played.
