Not disagreeing with you at all, but it does seem that he is playing a role. Probably isn't near the douchebag in life that you see/hear on espn.

I used to dislike Maher, and still think he is a dick. However, he is incredibly funny. Because I am not locked in on the politics of either major party, I am able to view him as an entertainer.

He is a major; class all to himself, asshole, IMO.
But a very, very funny and intelligent man whose show can be tedious at times depending on his guests and the topics of the day.

i know alot on tv --if not all-- is scripted and everyone likes (watching) a villain and i guess i prolly wouldnt enjoy watching shows as much if werent how they are/there, though still... very unlikeable to say the least

Keith never pulled the shit Junior is pulling. Jr. is just being an asshole for the sake of being an asshole. And the fact it is on film doesn't seem to phase him. Some disgusting shit he's doing out there on the water.
