After watching all the absolute great matchups tonite I have learned a lot.

Imo oregon Is the best team in the country....bama and lsu not as dominant as thought...


I have never disagreed with sec not being the best...

And most years think the best team is from the sec


But watching tonites game, neither bama or lsu is as dominant as once thought...both spectacular no doubt....

Oregon usually doesn't appeal to me...the tough gritty team always is who I like when compared to the flash and the "cool" team...

But this oregon has more speed then anyteam probably ever in the college realm.....they are without a doubt dangerous on any down and distance, and I honestly think they score 40 on bama or lsu....

LIKE I SAID IN PRIOR YEARS I ALWAYS SIDED WITH THE DEFENSE AND SEC TEAMS, BUT THIS YEAR IT IS CLEAR


Oregon vs bama/kstate should be the title game and I think oregon wins vs either

And speaking of teams not being as dominant as before, it is bad that boise is in the top 25.....I have sdst tonite and will continue to fade boise....

All because of their previous success, they are ranked

If another team had their schedule/record they wouldn't even be talked about....

Southwhick will be good, but please let's get real, they are not a top 50 team currently, let alone the 19th best in the country

You make sooo many great points and then you put 9-0 Notre dame behind a 2 loss team in LSU......:shrug:

But their record doesnt show it.......and that is all that matters each year with polls or computers. I have worked in the media for 12 years and your argument sounds like a homer! UGA should be ranked ahead of LSU right now......it all comes down to wins and losses when teams are picked for bowl games. I beg you to ask any coach when doing their ballots to put LSU ahead of ND!

Honestly blown away by Cie Grants comment......he should know that an 9-0 team will go to a bigger bowl game ahead of a 7-2 team.......voters would never put LSU ahead of ND.....doesnt matter what team......it could be BSU or Michigan, anyone......bottom line is Cie you are mighty wrong.

UGA would get placed ahead of LSU in the bowl tie in's for the SEC.....so how could you rank LSU ahead of them............my point in all of this is records is all that matters and Cie is mighty wrong on this.

In terms of who deserves a shot at the title if all remain unbeaten, I say Oregon and bama. I place nd 3rd and ksu 4th if all remain unbeaten.

Ksu, nd, bama and nd would make for one hell of a 4 team playoff. Contrasting styles, outstanding coaching, passionate fan bases. Great stuff.

Interested to see A&Ms offense against Bama next week.The defense looked far from dominant against an offense that had been mediocre at best.

IMO Oregon would not beat or even score 30 pts VS any SEC team, just too much size advantage in the trenches. The Ducks recruit fast athletic OL & DL with no regard to strenght and size.

Agreed but I think ND loses at USC although I would love them to beat SC. I hate Kiffin more than any coach in CFB today.....I posted earlier how hard I was cheering for Oregon only to see Kiffin lose his 3rd game this year!:0074

Are the 3 best teams....I mean flat out best football teams, you are crazy imo....


I don't want a sec champ again just because I hate predictable endings, but these 3 are way above the rest

An SEC defense would keep them under 30 most likely.......plus the Oregon offense wouldnt see the field as much as they are accustomed too nor would they have those 2 min. drives in 80 yards.....:nono:
