who is your top 5?

I think I confused some people :shrug:
I don't care about the polls
I want to know your top 5 rankings....
Nothing to do with wins/losses/sos/points scored....
We all agree 100% that schedule, conference, sos, all factor into a teams record, and since every teams resume is different, I want to know who you think would come out alive if we had say a 16 team tournament bracket....
That should make it easier....
What 4 teams would make the semis, and what 2 the finals and who the champ....
I promise u lsu would be in the semis...
There is no doubt in my mind they are a top 5 team....flordia as well is with them...
Who cares if cie thinks they are above 1 loss teams....so do I. There is no right or wrong....all subjective....people seem to have trouble with that...
I personally believe if all the teams played identical schedules lsu/bama/oregon/kstate would come out with the best results....
Polls are much different ....they don't care about sandwhich games, or bad spots, or back to back tough weeks where you lose a game you shouldn't.....

I have a hard time beleiving pure talent and football skill, that LSU, who just clearly outplayed bama, wouldn't be considered one of the top 5 teams.....

And I agree with ya, no chance lsu should be ranked above any of them.....but they would still beat them....lsu lost to bama and florida by like 10 points total......notredame would've lost by a combined 30-40.....no doubt....
That's the way it goes tho, and notredame and kstate both deserve their rankings because they have not lost......doesn't mean they would beat lsu....
I gaurantee lsu would be favored vs notredame by 10 and kstate bye 5.....
That says enough there....vegas would agree with our power rankings that lsu is better....
If anyone tries telling me vegas would have notredame favored over lsu, you need to share your dope with me...
And for the record I want a non. Sec final.....I love notredame....but the fact is there are better teams who have tougher schedules...

that's 80% + of the conference
lsu and bama matchup well but each are down from where they were last few years...we might see how ore does vs bama in 2 months
I don't understand the love for LSU but no love for Florida.....how do you rank LSU above Florida? They just finished a brutal 8 game SEC string of games with only 1 loss on a neutral field....and they given up about 12 points per game in that stretch, giving up 20 points once.....

Yes. One of the best football games I've ever watched in terms of just plain fun!
Defensive coordinators can adjust to a one dimensional offense (see RG3's declining success in the NFL) but the Ducks' have so many weapons and so many different looks that there's no way to fully prepare for them or stop them. And, as you've mentioned, their speed is peerless in college football. And USC is not a slow team.
They belong in the Championship Game and will hang 45 on Alabama. (I just hope they don't give up 46.)

Can we please wait and see if Oregon can beat a team with a defensive heart beat before declaring them the best team since the 72 dolphins? This was the best USC has done on offense all year, and they've played the gophers. Cal, stanford and ore st. Will be very different if my reading of the PAC 12 is correct. One of them will give Oregon a tough game, not all.
I've mentioned florida saying they are deserving...
They beat lsu in great game in florida....if they played next week at lsu I think lsu wins.....teams are very close....very very close....
