ya thats about 6 miles away from me,closer to the strip and its news to me...........o by the way DD i found this 3 bedroom house with a big pool by eastside cannery casino which my uncle wants to buy and i'll be his tenant,rent is $25 more than where i live now.....went and saw the place and he made a reasonable offer yesterday,waiting for the bank to respond...i got my fingers crossed cause the house is NICE!!

only problem is if it falls through i have to break my 1 year lease here which is gonna cost me 2 months rent :cursin: but it's a no brainer gonna fork it out and move :shrug:

LAS VEGAS (AP)?Oakland Raiders wide receiver Javon Walker was found unconscious on a Las Vegas street Monday after apparently being the victim of a robbery.

Police spokesman Bill Cassell said in a statement that Walker was taken to a hospital with ?significant injuries? after being found early Monday on a street off the Las Vegas Strip.

Cassell said Walker remained in fair condition at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.

A Raiders spokesman said the team was ?in the process of gathering information? and had no further comment.

This thread popped up on a search I did. I live a mile closer to the ghetto than LMM's place, and I was never scared. I also worked at the hospital mentioned above in trauma, and I would have assault victims all the time. It's usually the homeless beating the shit out of each other or it involves drunk tourists. I always have prisoners and gunshot wounds too. I see the aftermath of the violence in the hospital, but I don't really see it in normal day to day living. I love LAs Vegas, and again, I have never been scared living in what is considered a very sketchy neighborhood :shrug:

When I lived in Vegas I always felt safe except rare times downtown at 3am. But that was rare.
