Never understood putting salt on something sweet. Not good.

I ACTUALLY USE SUGAR....NOT SURE WHY THIS HABIT STARTED AS A LITTLE KID. I MUST HAVE SEEN ADULTS PUT SALT ON IT, AND I USED SUGAR TRYING TO IMITATE THEM. :facepalm: NOW I PUT HONEY ON IT
Really? The reason people put salt on sweets is that it enhances the "sweet" flavor.
I don't use it on my watermelon but the reason to use it is if the melon isn't fully ripened and not at it's best sweet point. Using salt will help make it taste sweeter.
