I'm thinking of organizing a league with a $100 entry fee. The format will be head to head.

I'd need input on which website to use and how many people we should have.

Also I would need help on the rules in terms of which catagories we should use.

In the past I've used yahoo.com but maybe there are better ones out there. The site we use must be able to handle the online draft. Phone drafts for baseball are a joke.

Any input is apreciated.

Anyone interested?

cbssportsline is the best probably. $130 league fee but they have a nice setup and can handle the online draft. Been using cbs for years. The customer service is very good when it comes to rerunning stats or helping you fix any bugs. The system when down for 2 weeks of football and they even gave us $$ back.

I am usually against head to head leagues, but you can start at 5x5 (Hr, Rbi, Runs, SB and avg) (wins, ERA, Whip, Saves, Strikeouts) is a good way to start.

cbs offers tons of stats.if you want to add to the standard 5x5 format. (most head to head leagues have a few more stats)

You can even customize the stats if u want (BB+doubles+triples-strikeouts)
you can assign point value...etc.

I would advise net wins (wins (2pts per win) - losses (subtract one point per loss), YOu can add hits as a stat, holds for a pitching category (middle relievers), walks...just a few to add to the 5x5 format.
THe site offers tons of options, and i think they give you a free walkthrough. you can make it a point based league, or head to head straight up using categories. It is up to you

cbs also lets you write up personal stories, articles...etc i highly advise this site for fantasy baseball.

if u decide to go that way, let me know if u have any commish questions. I am pretty familiar with the setup.
