Three drowned and two survived. Tragedy that could have easily been diverted.
In Atlanta, we have several deaths a year on the Hooch when the dam releases. Always check water release schedules. People hear the horn but don't relate it to safety. Sadly most are young children whose parents should think about safety.
Maybe it is just me....but it seems that in Sri Lanka and India people love to be close to the water. There are so many videos of water taking out people. What is with all the crowds around dangerous water:shrug:

I dont know why, but calling him dickserve really really made me laugh hard at my desk this afternoon. So simple yet, I literally was laughing out loud.
Btw, that video was very hard to watch, knowing the impending disaster.
