We got about 4-6 inches. They don't know how to clean this mess up around here. Back home the roads would be dry already.

Anyway, I finally got a chance to feel how my truck performs in the snow for the first time since I got the thing 2 and a half years ago. Sumbitch kicks ass. :0074

Something about tailgaiting little cars in horrid conditions makes me feel like a better person.

It's 15* here and is supposed to be -2 tonight. Just started snowing and we are supposed to get 3-6 inches. They just left the schools out at 1pm and I'm sure they will be off tomorrow. I HATE SNOW!!

Hudson Valley area.....NY
For my entire adult life that's all I dealt with...shoveling snow....a wide 2 car driveway...another 2 car spaces since my house has no garages..{ built in 1870} and a long sidewalk that I have to shovel because even though its my sidewalk the village will fine me...wish I could find the picture I posted here years ago during a snow storm...maybe an hour of non-stop shoveling......yesterday sitting at the Cotton Bowl in 63 degrees....today in Austin in the 60's....got 20 texts this morning from all my former teachers.." snow day,no school". I return their text..." I"ve got a snow day everyday....for the rest of my life".
I can relate to you all...but I don't miss it...

They're going to get a snow day tomorrow too!

They're closing the thruway with all the extra snow coming in. 6 inches so far and another 8-12 overnite. -2 here now and probably won't go over zero tomorrow and the wind is picking up!

Cool, what kind of truck? Living in Nebraska for a number of years I only drove trucks around. Had a couple of Fords and Chevy trucks. They kicked ass back in the day, now I stick to accords.

We would kill for at least one 3-4 inch snowfall down here in NC. We haven't had measurable snow in about 5 years. I guess it's one of those grass is greener type of things. In NJ I'd get tired of it but I feel bad my kids miss out on the excitement of an incoming storm, waking up to no school and building forts, etc.
